First and foremost, this is an S.O.S call to all: if you know where I can get the asam above, please mail me quickly. My stock’s run out, and to make it worse, the only place I know where it is still being sold has also run out of stock.
It’s been a somewhat hectic week for me. Doing what? Apart from trying to complete this matrix of who’s who in the defence industry, I have been traveling ala Jalan-Jalan Sambil Makan here and there, so much that when I was going out last night, my son Farhan said to me, “Ayah balik pukul berapa nanti?” When I told him that I’d be home by 3am, he said, “Pukul 4 la. 4 lagi banyak dari 3.”
Another sign that I’ve been away a lot from home is that I cannot turn the air-conditioner on using its remote control if I use my right hand. I have to use my left hand. Probably the theory that using the left hand is more enjoyable because it feels like someone else’s hand is true after all.
The trip down south was good, and somewhat fruitful, I must say. Not only did I have a good dinner in the best company anyone could ever ask for, I also met the Johor divers and had had a fruitful discussion with them – one of which is important for my future; a near future.

After that we all adjourned to…
The next day, Yummy Baby and I fulfilled a long time plan to have Burger King’s Whopper together. It was an October 2007 night – one of those nights when I was truly down, being neglected totally in a situation out of my control – when I drove all the way to KLIA for a Whopper. Yummy Baby asked me to get one for her as well so we could have Whoppers together at her car park lot. That plan never materialised because it was already late at night. So this time, she had a Whopper Junior while I had the full Whopper.
This was followed later by a Sushi dinner. Our sushi chef, Spena, rolled the
joints sushi while Yummy Baby prepared Chicken, Salmon and Dory Teriyaki. Great company as usual with Rina, Fynn, Din, Aiz, Renek, and Dalie whacking at the food the whole night. I’m sure Indah Water was happy with us that night for giving them a proper job to do.
Then, 25 weeks after it happened, a lunch was relived.
I tried to pick my nose with this
