What, in recent times, was as irritating, or more irritating than the Crazy Frog?
No?
You’ve forgotten?
It was Elie Youssef Najem!

Yes, five months have passed since his pledge to give RM1 billion to the National Cancer Society (MAKNA). It was in February that he made that pledge.
But hey, do you know that Crazy Elie has been given a Lordship?
Yes, he even now has his own website called Lord Elie Youssef Najem.
In this website, he has announced that he is building a hospital in Kuala Lumpur called Farinnie, Elie and MAKNA Children Cancer Hospital and Treatment Research Centre. Well, he’s a billionaire, of course he can do that. But he would also like local participations. Let me quote from his Charity Page:
DEAR PEOPLE
We need your support to make this dream come true and to make all of the people who are against the Dr. and his young wife realize that there is no stop and the dream will come true and they will fight all of the doubtful people and they will make the dream come true.
People of the world, the Dr. has created a program for his young wife to complete and has called it Farinnie’s Kids Last Wish Before Going To Heaven. This program gives the chance to one child once a month to get whatever his wish is before he is going to die.
And that can only be completed with the help of the good people that has a good and generous heart and we ask of you to help and support even if it was only one dollar.
By way of sending your funds to the listed bank account or to the following address:

Now, I wonder how much did he actually pay for that title and to which person with some palace connection? Oh, come to think of it, I should go through each and every single spam e-mail I get in case there is a plea by some Lebanese lord about wanting some USD500,000 so he can bring back his RM1 billion and give me a 20% commission plus the USD500,000.
I know it’s there somewhere in the Junk Folder….
