It’s 11.56pm.
My bags are packed with my nightstop kit.
I’ll be leaving shortly and will not be coming back tonight.
Good night, John Boy.

Your Opinion Does Not Matter

Good night, John Boy.
There I was drinking with the yummy ladies around me, feeling much like Tone Loc after a sip of Funky Cold Medina, when this yummy mama in biker’s outfit came up to me.
“You must be someone famous,” she said.
“I guess I am,” I answered. “Are you a biker?”
“Yes, I am,” she replied, checking her own outfit to see if anything is out of place.
“Female bikers ride big bikes because they never get anything big in between their legs,” I explained.
“Oh, really? My husband is a big biker too,” she responded.
“Men who ride big bikes have this complex about not having anything big in between their legs to show off,” I replied.
She looked at me and at the yummy ladies by my side and asked, “Are you a biker?”
I looked at the ladies around me and then back to this biker mama, “Obviously not.”
She smiled. I passed her my hotel room key.
“Wait for me upstairs. I’ll show you what a non-biker rides.”
I have finally come to upload the pics of seahorses taken during the live-aboard trip to Pulau Sembilan early December 2007. The seahorses here are of the Hippocampus spinosissimus type and can be found in coral reefs area of the western coast of the Peninsular Malaysia between the depths of 12 to 16 meters. These shy animals will lie horizontally when threatened.

Amphiprion akellopisos (you can only find this on the west coast)

Aeoliscus strigatus
I have been tagged by my darling Fretty Frincess, and I am required to tell about six weird things about myself. So here goes:
1. I Love Heights – I Can Look Down But Not Look Up
I loved jumping out of anything that flies: airplanes, helicopters, microlights…and also off buildings. When I jump off from an aircraft, I love to go into a full dive, travelling at almost 300km/h downwards, than the normal neutral fall of about 196km/h. The best part is, opening my parachute low – usually between 5-7 seconds before I hit the ground. That used to be my therapy for depression.
However, I have been asked to promise not to do this again by two people.
On a high-rise building, I love looking at the ground below, but get weak-kneed looking up at a higher object. I know it’s weird but don’t ask.
2. I Love To Dive Deep And Alone
Most of the time you’ll catch me diving deeper than the recreational limit, often going into decompression dive – and always alone.
I love diving alone.
3. Movies/Songs
I do not listen to malay songs nor do I watch malay movies. I am mostly into English, Thai and Filipino songs from all genre.
4. Wallet
The notes in my wallet are in denomination sequence – always.
5. Tasty Food
I can eat raw garlic with cili boh. I also love jeruk and if you were to buy jeruk from a small sundry shop, I would drink up the acid from the jeruk container.
6. Homely
By nature I hate going out of the house for no solid reason. I can stay in my room for 3 days in a row and not go out.
Now I would like to tag the following:
I would like to wish Lily a very happy birthday. Lily is from Hazyr’s batch and the first ex-STF blogger I met. She was doing her Open Water Diver course in Perhentian when I met her.
I would also like to announce and congratulate Lily on her forthcoming engagement.
May you be happy always.
Have fun, dive safe.
