Shut Up, People!

Gerakan President Lim Keng YaikPPP President, M KayveasDeputy Home Affairs Minister, Johari Baharom

It all started with Gerakan’s refusal to even consider merging with PPP to form a bigger party. Now, M Kayveas is on the warfront attacking Gerakan and its President, Lim Keng Yaik. Before this, PPP demanded the Parliamentary seat for Taiping. He was probably snubbed. Then his attacks became personal in nature, digging up Lim Keng Yaik’s past.

For these two, especially Kayveas, shut the f*** up. You are both the rakyat’s coolie, so do your job for the rakyat. Not bicker about who’s right or wrong. Imagine the number of manhours spent on researching someone’s background, and the energy spent on penting up hate. All this could have been put to better use for the rakyat.

Johari Baharom’s under investigation by the ACA after a website alledged the former’s receipt of some RM5.5 million for the release of three detainees. Johari’s been on the defensive, and is now dragging the Royal Malaysian Police along, and has begun to finger-point at others as well. The Prime Minister has rightly told him to answer to all the allegations first before finger-pointing others.

Pak Jo, shut the f*** up. If it was someone else questioning the police, you would have been among the first to jump in and tell them off for not allowing the authorities to conduct the investigation without fear nor favour.

I Am Somebody’s Wife

Disclaimer: The government has warned people not to believe bloggers and what they read on the Net. This story may be based on a true event…maybe!

I am somebody’s wife.

My husband is well-known and is somewhat powerful.

Therefore, as the wife, I am more powerful than he is.

If you want projects, you don’t have to see my husband. He will tell you to see me, as I am more powerful than he is. Just give me RM5 million for me to start doing things…maybe.

If I want donations for charity organisations, I’ll lift the phone and make a few calls stating how much I want them to contribute. Once my husband is in a better position, I don’t have to call anymore as these people will give me money without my having to ask.

I am somebody’s wife.

My husband is well-known and is somewhat powerful.

Therefore, as the wife, I am more powerful than he is.

Oh, and you did not get that project after giving me the RM5 million?

Did you hear me promise you anything? I only said it’s for me to start doing things…my own things.

What’s In A Name?

Nine years ago a chinese friend of mine sought to embrace Islam when she was in the United States. Among the questions she asked the scholar was the need for her to rename her father as Abdullah (Subject of God) as being practised in Malaysia. The scholar said no where does it say that she needs to change her father’s name.

This topic is in response to the current dilemma that came about after the Mufti of Perlis, in the state of Perlis’s Fatwa Meeting, deemed the act of renaming one’s father upon embracing Islam as “sinful”.

Yes, sinful.

Those opposed are crying foul citing examples like: Ahmad bin Pope, or Ali bin Subramaniam and so on, saying those names are unIslamic.

I am a proponent of the call by the Mufti of Perlis. The opponents should realise that one of the reasons non-Muslim families shudder at the thought of any of their members embracing Islam is the need to change the father’s name to Abdullah: psychologically side-lining the father and the family. What they should also realise is that it is the embracee’s name that needs to be changed to something nicer should his non-Muslim name sound or mean bad things: ie. KULOP, BATANG, TOILET and so on. The embracee is still his/her father’s child. Therefore it would be very unjust to deny the father of the embracee his claim over his own child. I believe the changing of the father’s name to Abdullah psychologically severes the tie that binds them as father and child.

May I quote from my source, the Holy Quran, which is my A1 source of information on Islam, as I do not hold the words of scholars to be true and just, from Surah al-Azhab (The Confederates) 33:5:

Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers, that is more just with Allâh. But if you know not their father’s (names, call them) your brothers in faith and Mawâlîkum (your freed slaves). And there is no sin on you if you make a mistake therein, except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend. And Allâh is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful.

Take A Leak

Today, the Exco for Religious Affairs of Selangor announced the existence of another deviationist cult preying on people who want to cleanse their sins and perform Haj but do not have enough money to do so. He mentioned that the Selangor Religious Affairs Committee has enough evidence and is waiting for the right tie to nab these people. When asked of the name of the individuals and the name of the deviationist cult, he refused to give them out for fear they might lie low and escape arrest.

Who on earth voted in this stupid person to become exco?

1) If you have enough evidence, arrest them.
2) The public is not interested to know what you know, but what have you done about it.
3) If you fear the deviationists escaping, why mention about their modus operandi in the first place? Now not only them will lie low.but all other deviationists that may have the same modus operandi.
4) Voters who chose this idiot to become their representative did the right thing: stupid people voting in another stupid to represent them.

How much more stupid can you get?

Classical leak of info.

I’ve Been Tagged – Weird

I’ve been tagged by blogger Neomesuff…and I was in the midst of packing to go diving tonight.

So how weird can I be? Let me count the ways:

ONE – I love to read and am always hungry for quick information. If I’m eating alone, I’ll need to read something..even if it means reading what’s on the paper mat on the MacDonald’s tray. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to eat. Even when I’m taking a dump, I’ll need to read. I don’t smoke. It’s usually a newspaper or a magazine (yeah doctor says it’s bad and will give me piles). If I can’t find proper reading material, I’ll read anything on the bottle of shampoo or on the toothpaste tubes.

TWO – I get PMS. Yes, I’m a man. I get something like PMS if the period between dives go longer than 4 weeks. I get all cranky, moody, short-tempered. So if you want to be my wife, make sure you allow me to go diving when you see me all moody.

THREE – I talk to my plants more than I do with the wife.

FOUR – I’m a homely person…even homelier than my wife. I spend more quality time with my kids in a day than my wife does. I prefer staying home when not diving.

FIVE – I am allergic to a building called Uptown Two, which I think is somewhere in Damansara Uptown. In particular the seventh floor. I sneeze uncontrolably whenever I’m there.

SIX – I talk to myself sometimes, especially when I’m thinking of something important.

SEVENTH – I know I’m weird for responding to Neomesuff‘s tag. Now I have to tag others:

I’m tagging: Kimi, Mocha, Choy the AD Gunner, Icecool and Daddy In The City.

Stupid MAT REMPITS

At around 2.20am today I was rudely awakened by the sound of motorcycles racing along this road to Sri Tanjung. I got up and saw a group of motoryclists “lepaking” by the corner, while a few were racing up and down the road. I was glad one actually tumbled and fell of his bike after a failed wheelie; if it weren’t for this one idiot, the race wouldn’t have stopped.

Maybe it’s time for the old “green peas on the road” trick again. Many will fall.

I’ve changed the title to MAT REMPIT from BIKERS because of my friend, Keith. 😛

Cranky

Cranky Bird

Yup, it’s that time of the month now.

PMS?

Well, something similar. This is how I am when I am deprived of the feeling of breathing compressed air in salt water. Cranky, moody, irritated.. and whatever have you.

Please, please, please..I need to dive now!

Dumb Employers On Ego Trips

Anand Panyarachun

I think it was sometime last week that a survey conducted was announced by the Ministry of Labour that 53% employees leave their jobs because they think the respective companies’ management is…to be polite…f***ed-up. Among the grouses are that employees are treated like dirt although the management’s way of thinking is against good management theories.

I guess warning letters should be sent to these employers asking them to buck up and treat employees fairly, telling them that their management skills (or the lack of it) have been less than satisfactory. We find employers, especially those foreign ones, often treat locals like cheap labour, and often mistreat them, giving them warning letters, or dismiss the locals, when the expatriate workers go scot-free.

Maybe the Immigration Department should also look into how certain company positions, such as directorships, have been abused in order to bring in unskilled labourers in so that they’ll get to “work” and hold high positions, when in reality they have no clue about how the wheel turns.

Not all expatriate directors are bad. There are good and exceptional ones. Take for example, Anand Panyarachun, who twice became caretaker Prime Minister of Thailand. Because of his contribution and excellent leadership skills, he’s been given an extremely high position in one of the local telecommunications companies, and is also recognised for his good deeds worldwide.

But then again, not all Anands are good…

Skodeng Squad

The Terengganu State Government will be implementing the “Skodeng Squad” (Snoop Squad) with members recruited from the ranks of hotel bellboys, room service guys etc etc to perform “vigilante” work and report to the state religious affairs office of any sins being committed. The state exco actually used the term “vigilante.”

Cool, but this stupid idea would probably benefit the country if we have snoop squads to report on violent crimes in progress or being planned. This would be beneficial to the country trying to promote itself for the VMY 2007. The original idea will stop domestic tourists from visiting Terengganu.

Someone please remove this guy from the next general election’s list of potential candidates.

Are You Lesser Muslim Or Lesser Christian?

This is a spin-off from my previous posting about DOGS IN ISLAM, where I am trying to point out how unIslamic Muslims have become by not trusting Allah’s Holy Quran but instead take the words of the scholars as if they’re gods.

Over a year ago I wrote in an UMNO forum in response to a member saying that women must cover up their hair. Of course I responded in the negative and challenged the person to show me where in the al-Quran does it say so, he never replied.

Before I begin, let me quote a verse from the Holy Quran in the chapter called THE PROPHETS (al-Anbiyaa’)21:24. Allah said:

“Have they found gods besides Him (Allah)? Say, “Show us your proofs. This Quran is my proof,it covers the present and the past.” Indeed most of them fail to recognise the truth, this is why they turn away.”

I don’t know how Islamic can one be by wearing or not wearing the tudung or hijjab. I don’t even know if it is Islamic to do that. The Quran only tells women to cover their breasts and to pull their outer garments over them. And for 1000 years or more, scholars are still debating whether Muslim women should cover their hair.

However, in the Bible, there is a clear order for women to cover their hair and their heads especially during prayer. Here is the reference:

Corinthians 11:5-6

“And every women who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonours her head – it is just as though as her head was shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgraced for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head.”

This reminds me of a few incidents where school children had had their hair cut by religious teachers, or their tudung cut shorter for not wearing the long tudung sometime last year (NST – 25th Feb 2006). A school in Bukit Mertajam even withdrew their participation in a netball competition because their players were not wearing tudung.

Sheer blatant stupidity and ignorance on the part of the teachers. 30 years ago when I was schooling I never hear of such nonsense. it seems that deviationist Islam has rooted itself firmly within the minds of these teachers, and they abide by the words of their scholars without questioning the facts.

And what about Muslim men being told that it is the sunnah (tradition of the Prophet) to wear turban, have beard etc? They say that men must (bordering divinely compulsory) to wear turban and have beard like the Prophet, and do other things that the Prophet used to do. This brings me to another case of three boys who were expelled from school because the students were adamant to wear turban to school. A PAS lawyer represented them and told the court that WEARING THE TURBAN IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF ISLAM.

Another narrow minded bastard who is bent on misguiding Muslims, if you ask me. No where in the Holy Quran is mentioned about the wearing of the turban and robes and growing beards etc. However, in the Bible, those are mentioned as the accoutrements of the priests.

Exodus 28:4

“These are the garments they are to make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a woven tunic, a turban and a sash. They are to make these sacred garments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so they may serve Me as priests.”

Leviathan 21:5

“Priests must not shave their heads or shave off the edges of their beards or cut their bodies.”

Leviathan 19:27

“Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.”

So, there you have it. “Defenders” of the faith (scholars’ faith) will say of course it is not mentioned in the Holy Quran. It is the traditions (sunnah) of the Holy Prophet!

So why do they go to work in cars instead of camel-backs?

Let me just quote you from the Holy Quran again to underscore what I have been saying about the lies attributed to Allah and Muhammad conjured up by the so-called faithfuls for over a millenium:

THE FAMILY IMRAAN (Ali Imraan) 3:78

Some of them even twist their tongues to simulate the scripture, to make you think that it is from the scripture when it is not from the scripture, and claim that it is from God, when it is not from God. They invent lies and attribute them to God, knowingly.”

So if you are a woman and you are not wearing tudung, and if you are a man and you do not have a beard or wear turban and robe, then let it be known that you are not unIslamic; you are in fact very unChristian.
