Happy Johoreans…NOT!

Shahrir vs TDM?

I was going through the comments made by Johoreans on Dato’ Shahrir Samad’s Blog on the cancellation of the crooked bridge project. I can see that the Johoreans are not entirely happy the project’s been scrapped.

Although there are only three comments (as on my last visit), I am sure had many others knew of the existence of this blog, there would be many more similar comments.

Pak Lah is going to have a tough time appeasing the Johoreans. And the UMNO/BN supporters will have a tough time keeping a straight face come the next general elections.

Acta Est Fabula, Plaudite!

Yes, no, admit, deny..finally the play is over. No more on my TV screen I hope.

I was down the whole…physically, mentally, emotionally..so I turned on the TV hoping to see some nice attractive faces to cheer me up and what did I see? Siti Nurhaliza and Datuk Khalid Mohd Jiwa announcing their intention to get married.

Yes…so what? Did I get national TV coverage when I got married? Was it of national interest to air it live on TV? There are thousands of other more important stories, things that are happening within Malaysia itself. Those things deserve to be on national TV. I think people would be more interested if they aired live Tun Dr Mahathir’s comment on the classical declassification of the letters between his good self and the Singaporean leaders. That would have been in the interest of the nation.

I’m not against them getting married. If yes, fine. Go ahead. Make 12 children for all I care. First they denied. Then they said maybe. Now, it’s a week from now. And they had to announce it on national TV. Why can’t they just make a press conference and air it as a filler within the entertainment segment of the prime time news instead of having to endure two hours of non-sensical “sensational” news?

Every single artiste had a big wedding. This would be, by my count, Datuk Khalid’s second marriage. I just hope they don’t go on air again if things don’t work out like the other artistes. I wish them well. So just get it over with, stop the charade, and get off my TV screen.

Age. Fac ut gaudeam!

I know the weather is clear outside. I didn’t say it was outside.

This Is A Good Internet Development Company

A Day In The Life Of Aziz Hurzook

Okay, you may ask who the f*** is Aziz Hurzook. Well, click on the link and you will know! He co-founded a company called PERSONUS, in Toronto, Canada.

He, Jacob, and Peter Jones (former President of Apple Canada). I don’t see any other names.

Thank you to an employee of the nation’s most-favoured tri-national company for pointing this out.

I also saw something on the North Californian District Court’s Bankruptcy list. But that’s another story.

Here We Go Again

Israeli F-16 bombing Beirut Airport

Here we go again. Crude oil prices have gone up by US$2.00 per barrel over the past 3 days.

Israel has now bombed Beirut’s suburbs.

The United States of Apathy, has yet again in the show of power, vetoed a UN Security Council’s resolution to ask Israel to halt its offensive in Gaza.

According to CNN, the proposal also demanded that Palestinian militants release the Israeli soldier abducted June 25 in a raid in Israel and stop launching rockets at Israel from Gaza. In addition, it called on Israel to release Palestinian government officials and lawmakers it took into custody after the soldier’s abduction.

Ten nations on the council voted in favor of the resolution, and four abstained.

John Bolton, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said that “in light of the fluid events on the ground,” the United States believed the Qatar-sponsored resolution was untimely and out of date, and would have helped inflame passions in the Middle East.

The Organization for Islamic Countries (Oh,I See!) has issued a statement as follows:

In the wake of the recent ravaging foray into Lebanon causing extensive damage and scores of deaths among innocent civilians as a result of the indiscriminate bombardment of Lebanese residential areas and civilian infrastructure installations, Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, describing it as disproportionate, haughty, wanton, and perpetrated in total disregard of international humanitarian laws and civilized norms.

In this context, the Secretary-General has sent an urgent letter to the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. Kofi Anan, expressing deep concern and profound preoccupation at the alarming Israeli escalation.

He called on the UN Secretary-General to see the new Israeli assault for what it is, in the broad context of the root causes of the conflict in the Middle East, as an action that is of a nature to undermine and destroy all efforts so far exerted to find a peaceful and negotiated settlement to the Arab-Israeli conflict and the Palestinian plight, in particular.

The OIC Secretary-General also called on the UN Secretary-General to exhort the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), as the sole international organ entrusted with restoring peace and security in the world, to urgently intervene in order to stop the present escalation of killing and the blood-letting and move for the instauration of an immediate cease-fire.

Yes, tell that to the militants who are giving Islam a bad name, too!

There is one thing that people should learn, time and time again, that “an eye for an eye will soon make everyone blind.”

The Israelis should halt its offensives, the militants should release all Israeli hostages, and the all-impotent OIC should send in its peacekeeping troops to the Middle East instead of looking as usual saying, “Oh, I see!”.

Decorum

Decoration...not decorum

Decorum, not decoration.

Anyway, maintaining decorum is for young ladies and pussies.

I believe in being forthright…not gracious nor magnanimous.

No Entry You Butt Plug

No entry

Malaysia’s most-favoured multinational company has blocked all access by employees to my blog. It seems that either the current directors cannot handle the truth, or do not want the new director to know the truth about the company so that they can con another 8,000 people for another 8 years.

Well, what can you expect from a bunch of dickheads…oh, I must apologise to all the men..I really shouldn’t associate any of those cow-shit-for-brains with anything manly.

Hmm…there is always a backdoor method…sorry, I’m not referring to one of the cow-shit-for-brains.
