Saffron Is The Colour Of My Robe And Red Is The Colour Of Roses

It rained all evening. Even Roger Wakimoto couldn’t give clear predictions on the weather nowadays. All his pre-2005 theories would have gone out the window by now as the weather continues to go haywire, probably caused by the change in axis tilt of the Earth on Boxing Day 2004.

I had a good dinner with Fretty Frincess. She had just gotten off work, and had brought some work back home as well. We talked about her frustrations, and her intention of not paint anymore. I talked her out of it, giving her encouraging words, talked about her character, the Fretty Frincess I have always known, and to always be herself regardless.

It was a good outing with Fretty Frincess…and the glass of Chardonnay made it even better.

I went back to the condo after dinner. She had prepared me a mug of hot Green Tea. She had already placed the new lamp by the little fountain and it looked absolutely great. I commended her for her arrangement, then I saw that the roses I gave her on her return two days ago are still as fresh as they were then.

Looks familiar...hmmm
Does this look familiar?

We sat and watched TV, well, not really watching, because we were indulging in serious talk. The nice cool breeze with a tinge of fresh water smell made the evening even better. In no time her head was already resting on my chest.

“Honey, do you know that you are so affectionate, and I have to tell you again that you have lovely lips.”

Hmm…well, at least I am not that Ben character from one of Deborah Smith’s novels.

Anyway, before we slept, she made us Hershey’s Goodnight Kisses…although after that I insisted on the real ones.
