DAP Caught Lying Again

Works Minister Fadillah Yusof today issued a statement revealing that DAP Pulau Pinang’s Exco member Chow Kow Yeow had lied again about the cost of the consultation fees paid for three roads leading to the proposed Pulau Pinang Tunnel.

Fadillah said the DAP justification that the RM177.5 million payment was not an overprice as 10 additional components was just a double-counting  as the 10 additional components mentioned by Chow Kow Yeow were found to be sub-componens of either the detailed environmental impact assessment (DEIA) or in the feasibility studies, or the detailed design.

His Ministry noted that that the total pre-construction consultancy fees for the 20km of roads is RM208.7 million where RM31.2 milion is for the feasibility studies and RM177.5 million is for the detailed design.

Late in June 2017, Chow Kow Yeow had disputed Abdul Rahman Dahlan’s claim that the DAP-led Pulau Pinang government had overpaid for something that should have cost a lot less, saying that there were 10 other job scopes that caused the cost to be as such.

Besides consultation fee, the RM177.5mil mentioned by Abdul Rahman was also used for 10 other job scopes,” said Chow at a press conference after visiting the Yayasan Belia Buddhist Malaysia head office in Jalan Seang Tek.

I suppose he muts have used the DAP’s version of Microsoft Excel to calculate the fees.

Defence: Airbus C295 Another Possible Platform For Malaysia’s MPA

Even before the incident involving the crash of a Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Beechcraft Super King Air B200T Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) talks were rife in the industry about the limited capabilities the T200 could offer as an effective MPA and possible replacements.

The four, four-man crew aircraft in the RMAF’s inventory  complementing the C-130MP in performing the MPA role but subsequently replaced the latter due to operational costs versus mission requirements.

RMAF Beechcraft Super King Air B200T MPA

The B200T, however, has a limited endurance of four hours, maximum cruise speed of approximately 300 knots (540 km/h) which makes its on-station loiter time somewhat limited unless the aircraft is deployed on a detachment which means logistics support have to be deployed as well.  In the long run it would be uneconomical for the RMAF to run such missions.

Malaysian has recently expressed interest in second-hand Lockheed/Kawasaki P-3C Orion of the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF) which are being replaced by the Kawasaki P-1 MPA. Although the RMAF is understandably weary of “hand-me-down” aircraft, the ready-to-fly P-3Cs offer an attractive opportunity to close the maritime patrol gap with hardly much that is needed to be done.  The P-3Cs have internal bays for torpedoes and depth-charges plus ten hardpoints on the wings for anti-ship missiles, torpedoes and mines.

The downside is that the last P-3C Orion to be delivered to the JMSDF by Kawasaki was on 1 February 2000, making the aircraft offered to the RMAF 17 years old or more!  The last aircraft delivered by Lockheed was in December 1994. The four Allison T-56-A-14 turboprop engines, although giving more speed, could only give a maximum range of 3,835 kilometers, which is only 700 kilometers more than the B200T, making the P-3Cs true gas-guzzlers. In December 2008, the US Navy had to ground 39 P-3Cs or 1/4 of its fleet due to age-related wing cracks. The average age of the Orions then were 28 years old.  17-year old P-3Cs have less than 15 years to offer to the RMAF unless an expensive service-life extension program is initiated for the fleet.

If acquired, the P-3Cs would be flying mainly RMAF’s anti-shipping missions.  These missions would require the aircraft to fly near wave-cap levels where the engines not only burn more fuel, but also be demanding on both the crew and the aging airframe.

The RMAF’s need for a reliable platform that would be able to perform largely anti-shipping missions and has a reasonable but economical loiter endurance with some strike capability if required drove Airbus Defence and Space to fly the Asian route while delivering an Airbus C-295 Maritime Surveillance Aircraft to Brazil.

The aircraft, which is in a Search-and-Rescue configuration, made its stop in Malaysia late on Friday evening after Thailand and Vietnam.

The Airbus C-295 of the Força Aérea Brasileira arrived at the Subang airbase on Friday 7 July 2017

Airbus Defence and Space’s marketing director Fernando Ciara explained that Airbus had decided to fly the Asian route through Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, North America, Mexico before delivering the aircraft to the Força Aérea Brasileira to showcase a platform that not only would be suitable for the SAR/MPA/ASW roles but would be friendlier for aircrews to transition to given that most of the countries mentioned, especially to Mexico, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines are already operating either the C-295 or CN-235 aircraft, while Canada has been authorised to purchase the C-295.

Fernando Ciara, Airbus Defence and Space marketing director explaining the capabilities of the C-295

The commonality between the C-295 and the CN-235 also potentially leads to  even lower operating costs.  Ciara added that given the versatile cabin configuration that allows fast switching of mission types, high manouvrability, better low-level flying capabilities given the high-wing configuration and a wide rear ramp, the C-295 makes the best option for maritime patrol and surveillance as well as anti-submarine warfare missions in Malaysia.

The C-295 is powered by twin PW127G turboprop engines driving Hamilton Sundstrand Type 568F-5 six bladed propellers which provide outstanding hot and high performance, low fuel consumption, and an endurance exceeding 11 hours.  Flying at a maximum speed of 480 km/h which is slower than the P-3C’s speed of 760 km/h and the B200T’s 540 km/h, but has a range of 5,600 kilometers compared to the P-3C’s 3,800 kilometer range and the B200T’s 3,100 kilometer range.

This first of two SAR aircraft will be delivered to the 2º/10º GAv (2nd Squadron of the 10th Aviation Group) of the Força Aérea Brasileira at Campo Grande, Brazil

The anti-submarine warfare version, which is already in service with one operator, is equipped with underwing stations to carry weapons and other stores.

The Brazilian SAR C-295 carries the Elta EL/M-2022A(V)3 surface-search radar

The C-295 makes strategic and economical sense for Malaysia as it allows operators to narrow down its aircraft types and suppliers, making logistical and technical support easier.

Malaysia is Airbus’ third largest market in Asia, after China and India.  Today there are 125 Airbus commercial aircraft flying with Malaysia’s airlines, with another 470 on order for future delivery.

200 Airbus helicopters are also being operated in Malaysia including the H225M and AS555SN flown by the Malaysian Armed Forces, and the AS365 in service with the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency.

In addition to the CN235s, the RMAF is Airbus’s first export customer for the new generation A400M airlifter and has four aircraft in service.

Dastardly Arrogant Party

As anticipated, the Tokong has announced that there is no need for a fresh CEC election despite being directed to hold one by the ROS.

In a bid to save his post and the post of his cronies, the Tokong said that the DAP will meet with the ROS to discuss the issue.

Four years have gone by with the DAP ignoring and even threatening court action against the ROS. This meeting will be just another repeat of his show of arrogance to a government agency.

What will follow this planned meeting would be more roadshows claiming that the DAP CEC is being targetted by UMNO (Malay)-run government agency, more threats of kegal action and defiant rhetorics spewed.

Former DAP strongman Tunku Abdul Aziz says that the current DAP’s predicament is its own doing

DAP’s current run-in with the authorities is the result of what it sowed back in December 2012.  By altering the CEC election results to include Malay-wannabe Christopher Ross Lim in the CEC lineup, DAP members unhappy with the management of the election lodged reports against the DAP prompting the ROS to investigate.

The complaints were lodged by its own members who felt they had been cheated of their rightful place, so it is no use blaming anybody else for what has happened,” said Tunku Abdul Aziz, who was a former DAP vice-chairman, to reporters. “This issue is essentially a procedural matter whereby the DAP had not followed proper procedures in an election seen as flawed, unfair and unjust by their own members.”

Other former leaders have called upon the DAP to shed its arrogant ways.

Lee Guan Aik tells DAP to stop being arrogant

Lee Guan Aik, who was unconstitutionally removed by the CEC as Kedah DAP Chairman in 2013, said the DAP should not be arrogant and stubborn.

Just conduct the re-elections, this time with transparency so that the rights of party members are upheld,” he told reporters.

But the rights of the party members is the last thing that would be of any interest to the Tokong and his henchmen.  Arrogance, too, is not new when it comes to the character that the Tokong has.  The DAP is essentially a secret society that is run by a group of cronies breaching not just its own party constitution but also State and Federal laws and regulations.

Lee Guan Aik likened the comittee selected by the CEC to replace his Constitutionally-elected committee members to a  kongsi gelap (triad organisation).

The Kedah DAP is being run like a triad organisation said DAP Kedah’s Lee Guan Aik

Tokong and his CEC are adamant NOT to hold fresh elections.  In a statement it said that the “DAP firmly assert that the re-election had already been called in accordance with their directive in their letter dated July 30, 2013.”

However, a letter from the ROS to Lee Guan Aik dated 4 December 2013 reaffirming that Guan Aik is still the legal Chairman of the Kedah DAP also contains the following sentence:

KEPUTUSAN INI DIBUAT DENGAN MENGAMBIL KIRA BAHAWA CEC DAP PADA MASA INI MASIH BELUM DIIKTIRAF OLEH JABATAN…

This is a clear proof that as at 4 December 2013 the CEC was still an illegal body within the DAP.  And what did the CEC do about it?  For four years since then – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

The 2013 elections DID NOT use the 2012 delegates list that was used in the election that had its results changed by the CEC.

Now it cries foul when being directed yet again to comply with the ROS’s instruction.

It is now up to the DAP members themselves to decide if they still want to be led by someone who has been charged in a court of law on TWO counts of corruption.

Or maybe it is time for the Tokong to call for a snap state election now before the term ends to seek a fresh mandate to lead Pulau Pinang for another term.  I am sure he has all the support, as evident in the video below.

Downwards Accelerating Party – Part 2

There is nothing democratic about the Democratic Action Party (DAP).

Before the results of the party’s election on 15 December 2012 got changed because Microsoft Excel did not give the DAP a good version of the software, the Top 20 results were as follows:

  1. Lim Kit Siang – 1,607 votes
  2. Lim Guan Eng – 1,576 votes
  3. Karpal Singh – 1,411 votes
  4. Anthony Loke – 1,202 votes
  5. Vincent Wu – 1,202 votes
  6. Tan Kok Wai – 1.199 votes
  7. Gobindh Sing Deo – 1,197 votes
  8. Tony Pua – 1,162 votes
  9. Teng Chang Khim – 1,152 votes
  10. Fong Kui Lun – 1,137 votes
  11. Nga Kor Ming – 1,075 votes
  12. Chong Chieng Jen – 1,011 votes
  13. Chong Eng – 1,006 votes
  14. Chow Kon Yeow – 985 votes
  15. M Kulasegaran – 984 votes
  16. Liew Chin Tong – 984 votes
  17. Dr Boo Cheng Hau – 958 votes
  18. Teresa Kok – 925 votes
  19. Teo Nie Cheng – 903 votes
  20. Ngeh Koo Ham – 824 votes

I made note of the results as they came out and quickly blogged about it.  Christopher Ross Lim, the Chinaman who goes by the Malay name Zairil Khir Johari could only muster 305 votes despite being Tokong’s closest lieutenant.

19 days later, blaming Microsoft Excel, a whole new result was published.  You can see how the spreadsheet format looked different than it did the first round at the DAP’s website. Let us take a look at the results that was endorsed by Emperor Lim Kit Siang and his son the Tokong:

The Top 20 who made it into the CEC. Compare this with the list above

You can see that Christopher Ross Lim, who only managed to get 305 votes, suddenly received 803 votes and made it as an “elected” member of the CEC.  Vincent Wu disappeared from the Top 20 list.  Guess who was at Number 21 and just one vote down?

The Emperor’s Archnemesis, Tan Seng Giaw, was at No.21 and was effectively out of the CEC despite being very popular in the DAP

This prompted two DAP life-members, David Dass Aseerpatham and Mahendran Krishnan, vice-chairman and secretary of the party’s Ladang Paroi branch respectively, to lodge a report against the DAP at the ROS.

The ROS has since rejected the results asking the DAP to provide proof that there was indeed a glitch in the software.  ROS deems the current CEC members as well as those holding positions in the DAP as invalid and has instructed the DAP to hold fresh CEC re-elections.

The Emperor Does not think that he and his team can win without cheating

This has prompted Emperor Lim Kit Siang to hit out at the ROS citing the directive given as ‘most ridiculous.’  Are the Emperor’s balls shrinking now that he knows his team cannot win without cheating?  Is he afraid that the diminishing popularity and increasingly dictatorial son will influence the CEC re-elections?  You can read here how the Emperor cheated in the CEC elections to win.

The DAP will be holding a meeting tomorrow (Saturday 8 July 2017) to discuss the ROS directive.  It is widely believed that the DAP will be challenging the ROS’s directive in court in order to be able to contest in the next general elections.  This is because the Red Bean Army has now begun to play on the issue of the Judiciary after the appointments of the Chief Justice and the President of the Court of Appeal as additional judges of the Federal Court.

Chief Justice, Tan Sri Dato Seri Md Raus bin Sharif has been appointed as an additional judge of the Federal Court

The DAP will definitely use ‘questionable impartiality’ of the Judiciary in case the court decides in favour of the ROS later.

But that is all DAP’s game.  And this game can end with the resignation of both Emperor Lim Kit Siang and Tokong Lim Guan Eng who has been charged in a court of law for abusing his office to conduct corrupt practices.

Only then can the DAP be saved, as envisioned by the Emperor himself.

DAP’s Emperor Lim Kit Siang offers to reisgn in order to save the DAP

Meanwhile, former DAP leaders have frowned on the Emperor’s remarks.  Janice Lee, who is a former DAP state assemblyman for Teratai, said that Lim Kit Siang has to justify and explain to the public how this (irregularity) had happened and also answer issues raised by sacked DAP members.

This means that they don’t have the right to sack me because the CEC in that year was not valid,” she said.

Former DAP leaders say Lim Kit Siang owes an explanation on how the irregularity had occured

Former DAP life member Shamsher Singh Thind said that as a leader of a so-called democratic party, Kit Siang must ensure that party matters were dealt with transparency and integrity.

You must ensure people can see that you have done everything by the book, which means you should hold a re-election to sort this matter out once and for all,” he added.

Will the Emperor and his son Tokong resign now?

Keadilan Untuk Teoh Beng Hock – Kenapa Anda Patut Jangan Jadi Ah Beng

1. TEOH BENG HOCK MATI KETIKA MEMBERI KETERANGAN MENGENAI SALAHGUNA WANG RAKYAT OLEH DAP.  SIAPA YANG AKAN DITANGKAP SEKIRANYA BENG HOCK MASIH HIDUP DAN MENCERITAKAN KESEMUA MAKLUMAT YANG ADA PADA BELIAU?

2.  SIAPA YANG MENERIMA MANFAAT POLITIK SEKIRANYA TEOH BENG HOCK HIDUP DAN SEMPAT MENCERITAKAN KEPADA SPRM MENGENAI MAKLUMAT-MAKLUMAT PENYELEWENGAN YANG BELIAU KETAHUI? BARISAN NASIONAL ATAU DAP?

3. SIAPA YANG MENERIMA MANFAAT SEKIRANYA TEOH BENG HOCK MATI SEBELUM SEMPAT MEMBERI MAKLUMAT MENGENAI PENYELEWENGAN WANG RAKYAT YANG DISYAKI DILAKUKAN OLEH WAKIL-WAKIL RAKYAT DAP?

4. KENAPA LIM GUAN ENG YANG BERKATA BELIAU LEBIH RELA MATI BERDIRI DARI MELUTUT KETAKUTAN TAKUT PULA UNTUK MENGHADAPI PERTUDUHAN RASUAH BELIAU DI MAHKAMAH DAN KINI MASIH MENCARI JALAN UNTUK MEMBATALKAN PROSIDING?

5. KENAPA TEOH LEE LAN TIDAK BERTANYA KEPADA EAN YONG HIAN WAH KENAPA SENGKEK SANGAT NAK SELEWENG RM2,400 HINGGA MENGAKIBATKAN KEMATIAN BENG HOCK?

6. KENAPA TEOH LEE LAN SANGGUP DIPERKALDAIKAN DAP SEPERTI SEORANG AH LIAN?

Dictators Asphyxiate Party

On 12 November 1933, even with the Nazi party as the sole political party contesting in a German parliamentary election seeking to endorse Hitler’s plan to remilitarise the Rhineland,  43,007,577 ballots were cast, of which 39,655,288, or 92.2 per cent, endorsed the list and 3,352,289, or 7.8 per cent were defective.  Hitler reacted badly and a directive by the Ministry of Propaganda to no longer keep track of spoiled ballots was issued.

Joseph Stalin used elections as part of his Great Purge of potential communist competitors.  More than 70 percent of factory committee members were replaced, 66 percent of the 94,000 factory committee chairmen, and 92 percent of the 30,723 members of the regional committee plenums.

The DAP conducted a party election that was rigged, blamed Microsoft Excel for the election woes, then blames everyone else but themselves over the party’s registration which is now in limbo as the Registrar of Societies is soon to decide on the fate of the party. But this is not new.  Even the Melaka DAP fiasco was blamed on UMNO.

DAP’s Emperor Lim Kit Siang offers to reisgn in order to save the DAP

In an attempt to hoodwink party members as well as the public, Emperor Lim Kit Siang offered to resign to “save the party from deregistration.”  It is just a ploy to divert attention from his and his son’s struggle to maintain their hold on the DAP.

A servant of the Lims who was planted in Johor, Teo Nie Cheng, even questioned the need for the ROS to meet up with Ahmad Zahid Hamidi before deciding on the fate of the DAP.  She knows very well that Zahid is not just a Deputy Prime Minister but also the Home Affairs Minister thus making the ROS reportable to him.  But in order to paint a negative picture and show that the ROS is an effete agency in case things go bad for the DAP, she purposely links the ROS to Zahid who can later be blamed for the DAP’s own arrogance.

Teo Nia Seng trying to lonk DAP’s arrogance to the BN

The DAP fiaso began with the December 2012 DAP party elections, where the numbers show that the Emperor only received 62.4 percent of total votes, while his son the Tokong received 1,576 votes out of 2,576, or only 61.2 percent of total votes.  In short, 1,000 delegates did not vote for Tokong.

Before the 2012 party elections the DAP had 31 Central Executive Committee members of which three were Indians, two Sikhs and two Malays.  During this election, all SEVEN Malay candidates lost.  I wrote SEVEN because although the media quoted EIGHT, Zairil Khir Johari IS NOT Malay.  His name is not Zairil bin Khir Johari, but Zairil Khir Johari bin Ablululah.

Zairil, or Christopher Ross Lim as his name was before Khir Johari married his mother in 1996 when he was seven or eight, only managed to secure 305 votes.

One of the Malay candidates, Zulkifli Mohd Noor from Pulau Pinang, who had tried for the past 25 years to get into the CEC,  received 216 votes.  He was clearly peeved:

When we say ‘Malaysian Malaysia,’ we must represent all religions, all races…balance. The message I conveyed did not reached the grassroots. They are still choosing leaders based on race,” he told Bernama.

He said that the election was also not based on ability and experience of the candidates in fighting for the party.

There is no change. The results is a setback for Malay candidates. Perhaps the top leaders who contested want to take care of their own interests, not the party’s interests.”

However, 19 days after the party elections the DAP announced that there had been a technical error in the vote tabulation and declared defeated candidate Zairil Khir Johari Abdullah as a duly elected member of the CEC.

This prompted two DAP life-members, David Dass Aseerpatham and Mahendran Krishnan, vice-chairman and secretary of the party’s Ladang Paroi branch respectively, to lodge a report against the DAP at the ROS.

The investigation into the legality of the DAP CEC was as a result of reports by DAP members, not BN

“This is a clear case of election manipulation, and it is also against the democratic process and the party’s slogan of competency, accountability and transparency (CAT),” David Dass said.

Calls for a fresh CEC election made by members have gone totally ignored.  Members in Pulau Pinang and Seremban protested.  The ROS promptly launched an investigation into the allegations made and asked the DAP for its annual report to be submitted by 14 February 2013.

In April 2013, a month before the 13th General Elections, the DAP threatened the ROS and asked the latter to withdraw from investigating the DAP.  The ROS had asked DAP to present proof of its claim of mistake during vote counting at the Central Executive Committee (CEC) elections.

The Director-General,  Datuk Abdul Rahman Othman said this was to determine whether it was due to a computer glitch or cheating.

We are still investigating and one of the major issue is the votes received by candidates in the party elections,” Rahman said in a statement.

Furthermore,  the ROS stated in May 2013 that it had found 753 DAP members who were eligible to attend its national congress on 15 December 2012, did not receive notice.

DAP members who did not receive the notice were denied the right to vote and choose the leaders they wanted at the congress,” he said in a statement which also said the ROS would continue investigations on other issues raised by complainants, and go through all documents submitted before arriving at a decision on the validity of the congress based on the Societies Act 1966.

There were other illegal things that the DAP had done since then including removing the Kedah State DAP Committee headed by Lee Guan Aik in May 2013 and replacing them with members of the Lim’s choice including Zairil Ross Lim as the State’s committee interim Chairman.

My committee and I were removed because certain dynastic leaders did not want us to continue to lead Kedah DAP,” alleged Lee. “I was removed without any valid reason neither was I called to face any inquiry. I was removed in an undemocratic way.”

Lee Guan Aik was removed from his elected post undemocratically

This prompted Lee to also lodge a report with the ROS in July 2013 which in turn issued Lee an official letter in December that year duly recognising him as the Kedah DAP chairman.

Letter from the ROS confirming that Lee is still the DAP Chairman for Kedah

Those leaders in the centre are not bothered to resolve the leadership crisis in Kedah. They are running the Kedah DAP like a kongsi gelap (secret society) … there’s so much secrecy,” Lee said. “The DAP publicly portrays itself as a democratic party but in truth it is not.

This certainly does sound like how Joseph Stalin ran the Soviet Union’s Communist Party.  Pulau Pinang’s Joseph Lim Guan Eng has also been running Pulau Pinang like a dictator. Just ask Ang Kean Seang and Teh Yee Cheu.

It was not the first time that the DAP under the Emperor Lim Kit Siang had removed people not aligned with his dynastic rule.  In the 1990s the Emperor removed the likes of Goh Hock Guan who was the Selangor State DAP Chairman.  Others who were expelled included Dr Soarian, Chan Teck Chan, Seow Hun Khin, Chin Nyuk Soo and Goh Lin Eam.

Goh Hock Guan, in his letter to Cheng Man Hin, said,

“I don’t want to have any relationship with Lim Kit Siang. We’re totally adverse in terms of viewpoints and personality. As long as Kit Siang is holding the position as the Secretary-General of the DAP, he would definitely and finally destroy the future of DAP.”

Lee Lam Thye was made the Deputy Secretary-General but without power nor authority. Under Kit Siang’s orders, Lam Thye was not allowed to give views nor comments of any dissatisfaction. But he had an impeccable record of service to his constituency, and this threatened Kit Siang’s position.

On 29 September 1990, Lee Lam Thye dropped a bombshell announcing his departure from the DAP.  He said,

“A few leaders had hurt me from behind…I can’t stand anymore.”

After Lam Thye’s resignation, Lim Kit Siang issued a gag-order on the DAP ordering all party members to ‘shut-up’, avoiding giving any statement, view or statement through the media.

This is how the DAP under the Lims and their cohorts is being run now – as a society it is a dynastic triad; given the power to govern it would be just like Hitler’s Nazi party since it now shows how it equals to Joseph Stalin.

DAP’s only hope is now in Tan Seng Giaw, virtually the only politician who opposes constructively and professionally.  Hopefully sane party members will see this.

But as long as the computer used to count party ballots is operated by someone appointed by the Lims, DAP will continue to be a party which blood is sucked dry by the Lims and their henchmen, and will die of asphyxiation.

The Running Serial Convict

Today, His Majesty The Sultan of Selangor attended the Selangor Hari Raya Open House held at the MPAJ field in Pandan Indah.  In attendance was the Menteri Besar of Selangor, Azmin Ali.  The event invitation to the Selangor people was posted by Azmin on his Facebook page on 29 June 2017.  As with other states, Exco members, ADUNs and Members of Parliament are expected to attend.

The invite to the Selangor Hari Raya Open House that was posted by Azmin on 29 June 2017

His Majesty the Sultan attended the event together with Her Majesty The Tengku Permaisuri, and His Royal Highness The Raja Muda.

Azmin and wife together with HM The Sultan of Selangor, HM The Permaisuri as well as HRH The Raja Muda

Where were the Selangor Excos, ADUNs and MPs?

Let us for instance try and locate Sivarasa Rasiah who was chided by His Majesty The Sultan for giving a ceramah in a mosque was nowhere to be seen.  His last Twitter post was on the 18 June 2017.  Maybe he was away in another mosque somewhere in Sarawak, giving a ceramah judging by his Twitter display photo.

Missing In Action – Al Ustaz Sahibus Siamang, Sivarasa Rasiah

Another famous for nothing MP from Selangor is Pony Tua.  He too seems to be missing in action from the Selangor Open House, which is an event held for the Selangor people to celebrate Hari Raya together with His Majesty The Sultan of Selangor.

Not quite PONY TUA but a jackass all the same. And the teeth are definitely his

It seems that Pony Tua got all excited about another event held on the same day that has nothing to do with Selangor at all.  As a matter of fact, it has to do with Pulau Pinang.  Pony Tua was not promoting the event where HIS Sultan is attending, but was in fact promoting Tokong’s event!

Pony Tua promoting Tokong’s event

Although Pony Tua did not specifically mention anything about it being Tokong’s event, take note that it was held at 1Utama Shopping Complex.  There was another event, also held at the 1Utama on the same day as the Selangor Hari Raya Open House.

Tokong signed books at 1Utama

Wow! So, Tokong was in Petaling Jaya signing books instead of answering allegations made by the Barisan Nasional.  The fact that the book signing was held at 1Utama, it can be safely assumed that Pony Tua was also there to support Tokong’s event instead of attending the Sultan’s event.

Some may say that it is coincidental, but Tokong and his artist called Tomato were there to sign the comic books.  And guess who were there?

Steven Sim, the MP for Bukit Mertajam who is bad at Tai-Ji, takes a photo with Tomato, and was photobombed by….PONY TUA!

So, Pony Tua was supporting the event for the Tokong rather than attend the one with the Sultan.  After all, it is the DAP that is in control of the Selangor State Government, not PKR as believed, so why should Pony Tua care?

Let us now check on the Speaker of the Dewan Undangan Negeri Selangor, Hannah “Goat of God” Yeoh.  Since she is the Speaker of the Dewan, she should be at least promoting the Hari Raya event as did Azmin Ali on 29 June 2017.  Let us check her Facebook to see if that did happen.

Hannah Yeoh made no mention about the Hari Raya do on Facebook. Where was she?

Hannah likes to show those who voted for her events that she attended or promoted not just on Facebook but also on Twitter.  Let us now check her Twitter account.

On the same day Azmin Ali promoted the Hari Raya Open House do, Hannah promoted the I Heart Penang run event. Nothing on helping Azmin spread the invite to Selangorians to attend an event with their Sultan in attendance

Perhaps a Hari Raya event is unChristian for the Goat of God.  She wants to make sure that if Jesus had died on the cross for her, so should she.

So what was this I Heart Penang Run event?  Apparently Tokong can no longer con the Penang Lang so he needs to con the Selangor people as well.  So, this morning, he brought his Pulau Pinang people down to lead the Selangorians to run with him.  Not only that, these suckers were fleeced by the Robbing Hood called Tokong by RM25 per person!  Isn’t it odd asking Selangorians to pay RM25 to HEART Penang?  Why not organise only in Pulau Pinang?

Steven Sim above was not just in Petaling Jaya for the Tokong do at 1Utama, he also participated in the run…with another Selangor MP, Ong Kian Ming!  So, if all DAP MPs from Selangor was running for Tokong, who attended the Sultan’s event?

Ong Kian Ming, the Serdang MP was also at the I Heart Penang run

Truth be told, the DAP MPs and ADUNs of Selangor do not respect His Majesty The Sultan of Selangor.  To them, Tokong’s position is higher than the Sultan’s. Tokong is the CON-SULTAN.

Only Pulau Pinang’s Chief Minister is running. He is also running away from his battles

So, dear Steven, our Menteri Besar and other Chief Ministers do not feel the need to run.  They have not done anything wrong, have not been charged in court for corruption, and do not run away from questions and allegations like the Tokong does.  And I am still waiting for him to answer the questions and allegations made by the Barisan Nasional against him.

Until then, someone should keep the coffee warm for him.

Malaysia’s Efforts To Combat Human Trafficking Recognised

Malaysia has been taken off the US Human Trafficking Watchlist after its position in the watchlist has improved to Tier-2 (pic courtest of Fact Retriever)

Slavery has been around since the beginning of time. Up until the introduction of the English Common Law in the Malay States, those who can no longer afford to pay taxes entered bondage slavery to keep their daily bread. Such was the time when slavery was almost all about labour exploitation.

And then the British brought in workers from Southern China and India to toil the tin mines and rubber plantations respectively.  Other than bringing in opium to keep them happy, Chinese females were also brought in to fulfill their sexual desires.

Today, there are more human slaves in the world than ever before in history. There are an estimated 27 million adults and 13 million children around the world who are victims of human trafficking. (Skinner, E. Benjamin. A Crime So Monstrous: Face-to-Face with Modern-Day Slavery. New York, NY: Free Press, 2008).  Nearly 80% of human trafficking is for sex, and 19% is for labor exploitation (http://www.ncdsv.org/images/NCADV_HumanTraffickingFacts.pdf ).

Two years ago we were shocked by reports of Malaysia being used as a base for human traffickers with the discovery of 28 camps and 139 graves of trafficked Rohingyas in Wang Kelian.

Since then the government has pulled out all stops in its efforts to eradicate the menace. Najib Razak even made a personal decision to become more involved in combatting human rights violators, especially in the realm of human trafficking. He instituted a government-wide initiative to consolidate efforts. Working with law enforcement, immigration authorities, the manufacturing and agriculture sectors and NGO’s, the Malaysian government planned and executed a comprehensive effort to combat trafficking at the local and regional levels.

The efforts have since paid off.  The latest US State Department’s Trafficking In Person (TIP) report, Malaysia was elevated from a watch list to “Tier 2”, which represents significant efforts to combat human trafficking.  This is as a result of the Prime Minister driving the efforts to improve in several key areas, which the US has today recognised as achieving.

Not all are thankful that the efforts made by the government, notably Klang MP Charles Santiago who calls the US State Department’s TIP report a ‘farce‘ that is ‘driven by political objectives.’

The Farcical MP

Charles Santiago is the same person who in 2015 asked then-US President Barack Obama NOT to elevate Malaysia’s TIP status from Tier 3.  Nothing good should ever come to Malaysia for as long as it is not he nor his comical colleagues that are in power.

Charles Santiago asking Obama in 2015 not to make Malaysia look good to anyone

This MP is from the very same Pakatan coalition that the US Department of Justice’s suit on 1MDB-related individuals and companies are not politically-motivated because it would hit the Barisan Nasional hard, but argue that the US State Department’s TIP report as politically-driven instead because it does no good to the Pakatan’s aimless struggle.

Making stupid calls over nothing

According to the US TIP report, the Malaysian government conducted 106 risk assessments and ultimately granted six victims work visas and 12 special immigration passes for freedom of movement. An additional 28 victims were approved for freedom of movement. Prosecutions were initiated by the Malaysian government against 175 alleged traffickers, up from 38 initiated the previous year. The government convicted 35 traffickers—18 for labour trafficking and 17 for sex trafficking.  There were 1,558 trafficking victims identified in Malaysia last year and 3,411 cases investigated by the Royal Malaysian Police.

The report added that the Malaysian government demonstrated increasing efforts compared to the previous reporting period. During the reporting period, the Malaysian Attorney-General approved and the Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi enforced implementing regulations for the amendments to the anti-trafficking law.

As for the protection of the trafficking victims, the report says that Malaysian officials provided three NGOs with funds to conduct various programs and activities with trafficking shelter residents. They also increased its funding allocation to the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development to operate government facilities for trafficking victims.

As a matter of fact, the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development maintained seven facilities specifically to house trafficking victims, and the government allocated RM3.06 million (USD682,270) to open three new trafficking shelters.

With this elevation, Malaysia is now a regional leader in combatting human trafficking.  Najib Razak will be working with regional countries, in particular the ASEAN nations,  that are lagging behind, and will support efforts by Myanmar, Laos and Thailand to solve their trafficking problems.

While we should all be proud of this achievement, we should spare no effort to eradicate this inhumane trade.  However, credit should be given where credit is due, and politicising issues such as this shows how selfish one can be putting his/her agenda above the nation’s.

Pulau Pinang Should Be Left To Be Plundered By Guan Eng

A dog cooked alive by people in China

A day ago, a video of a dog being cooked alive in a large wok made its rounds on the Internet.  As sickening as it was, I cannot help but think of the helpless dog as Pulau Pinang, the cook Lim Guan Eng, and the laughing crowd are the Pulau Pinang voters whom has allowed outsider Guan Eng to continue to plunder the island, literally screwing the locals painfully from behind while telling them that it is for their own good while only he is pleasured by the act.

Coincidentally today is the anniversary of Corrupt Minister Lim Guan Eng’s arrest for corrupt practices including using his office and position to influence the price of a property that he had bought.

So much for boasting that he would fight back to clear his name, he has been avoiding trial by claiming many things including that the Act used to arrest him is unconstitutional.  Even blabber-mouthed Tony Pua dared not walk the talk to ask the Tokong to step down from his post – and this has been almost 16 months to the date ball-less Tony Pua said to reporters that the Tokong should step down if charged for corruption.

Since then it has been “ops normal” for the Tokong, running Pulau Pinang like his little own business, selling virtually everything except the backside of the people of Pulau Pinang thus far. He is still not done screwing them from behind.

Not only has he not been able to answer or refute any of the allegations made by the Barisan Nasional, especially on the Pulau Pinang Tunnel project issue, he has been asking his little dog Chow Kow Yeow to do the answering for him, and like the dog in the video Chow Kow Yeow got into hot soup – literally.

Today, a former Pulau Pinang City councillor Dr Lim Mah Hui made a shocking revelation.  In an open letter, today Dr Lim claims that

a developer wants to develop a big project to build 600 high-rise apartments, even though 43 percent of their land exceeds a 25-degree gradient and qualifies as sensitive hill land.

This land was registered as hill land under the Pulau Pinang Land Conservation Act 1960, which means no development is allowed.

However, the developer bought the land in 2010 anyway and applied to the Pulau Pinang State Government in 2011 for the land to be released from protected status.

In the same year in Dec 2011, the State Planning Committee (SPC) approved the release and allowed the development in to commence the same month upon payment of just RM1 million from the developer.

Dr Lim made headlines in December 2016 when he walked out of the City Council before the expiration of his term.

In March last year, he was involved in a heated exchange with Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng during an NGO dialogue session over parking woes, road-widening projects and the council enforcement’s car-towing figures. Later in June 2016 he sent a letter to Unesco expressing fears that the PTMP would jeopardise George Town’s World Heritage Site status while in July 2016, Dr Lim criticised the state’s Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP) and suggested an alternative better, cheaper, faster transport master plan.

According to Dr Lim, the gazetted Penang Structure Plan explicitly forbade development on sensitive hill land unless it is a “special project” approved by the state government. How a housing project could have been approved by MBPP under the rubric of “special project” is the subject of contention in this legal case.

What does Tokong care about the plight of the lower income group in Pulau Pinang? As long as money can be made to finance the ever-growing state government expenditure, everything is alright to them.  People who love the greenery, and fishermen can go fly kites for all he care.

The T-shirt worn by the wife of a Queensbay fisherman says it all

Not only has the Pulau Pinang state government’s operating expenditure has risen exponientially compared to when DAP took over the island from BN, parking charges, rates and water tariffs too have been on the increase to finance the extravagance. Just look at how much the spending by the state government under the Tokong has increased in just nine years.

The last seven years under BN compared to the years under DAP

To divert the attention of the people, Tokong today tried to stir the almost dead DoJ issue.  Despite the DoJ documents not listing MO1 or wife of MO1 as people affected by the investigation, and documented evidence that the misappropriated money used by Jho Low et al to purchase priceless goods have nothing to do with the 1MDB, he insists that that is the cause of the economy going bad leading to the government having to implement the GST which in turn led to the higher cost of living.

This does not explain why Saudi Arabia has decided to impose VAT in January 2018 and began a BR1M-like cash-transfer program for its lower income citizens.

Tokong’s argument also does not explain why the Singaporean economy will continue to be sluggish even without a 1MDB.

Nor does it explain oil-rich Venezuela’s extremely high inflation rates and the near-collapse of its economy.

Al Jazeera’s graph showing Venezuela’s volcanic inflation rate

The Tokong also dismissed claims that the DoJ suit is Opposition-driven, and was planned by the Opposition.

He said the United States could have used military might and need not file civil suits in its own country if it wanted to topple the Malaysian government.

US can use military instead of legal suit to topple government screams DAP and Malaysian Incite

This prompted Parti Cina Malaysia’s Deputy President, Datuk Huan Cheng Guan, to lodge a police report against the statement made by Tokong.

Datuk Huan Cheng Guan posing with his police report made against the Tokong

I don’t know if the Pulau Pinang people who are not like Penang Lang Datuk Huan Cheng Guan actually care if the Tokong wants gwei loh to run the country. Gawky Ah Lians who support the DAP and blackened their profile pics on Facebook during the last general election won’t mind having gwei lohs running the country either.  It probably makes them feel extra superior.

Of course, Pulau Pinang people have a price, and a cheap one too.  For a mere RM1 million, like Tokong, you too can screw their behind.  And they seem to love how Tokong does it to their backside while he continues to steal from them.

AirAsia X: Jawapan Saya Kepada BERNAMA
