I am here having lunch with Faizal and Dennis. I had Pita with Hummuz and French Onion Soup. Dennis and Faizal shared two pizzas.

Why I dive Tioman
Strong Winds, Rough Seas In Sabah, Sarawak Waters
Tioman will have first night of full moon tomorrow when I drive there…and second full moon night on the planned night dive.
As they say, when the moon is full, all creatures come out…including demons and lunatics.
Hahaha.
This cybercafe
Another half an hour to go before I go get the t-shirts and stickers. My daughters are waiting for me on the sofa in this cybercafe. And my good friend is still in the office. And Kimi must be sulking big time now.

Hehehe…my good friend is at the usual place. I am now online with my good friend. What a good ending to a boring day.
Of T-Shirts and Stickers
Went hunting for dive t-shirts last night with Faizal, Mya and someone else. I couldn’t find anything bigger than size M, so I decided to make my own, plus some stickers to paste on dive boats and dive centers. Which is why I am online at this time of night since I do not have an Internet connection at home.
An absolutely nice person is trying very hard to get me a phone line.

Kudos Terengganu
Reef Protection Program (in Malay)
I commend the Terengganu State Government for being pro-active in conjunction with the International Cleanup Day on 17th September 2005, which also happens to be the 20th of the series. The Menteri Besar has expressed concern over the deterioration of coral reefs along the coast of Terengganu as well as near the islands of Redang and Perhentian (and others) and have embarked on a conservation program by culturing reefs and breeding turtles with the assistance of several oil companies, and KUSTEM (East Malaysian University College for Science and Technology).
I want to see the other littoral states, especially Kedah, to do its clean-ups.

Wreck Diving
Nizar called me again today asking me if I would like to join him and Hans Isaacs on the Grace. That’s going to be next weekend, an another absence of 5 days from home, and 3 from the office. I have lots of annual leave left. I really wish I can go.
I still need a break from life.

Pulau Payar The Rubbish Dump
TV3 the other day ran a two-part coverage of Pulau Payar and what a mess it is in now. I am wondering what has happened to enforcement, more so that the Marine Park people are stationed there? Why let it deteriorate into such a mess?
