Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya seketika tadi mengumumkan kemenangan dua pertiga majoriti Barisan Nasional di Sarawak – suatu kemenangan yang lebih besar berbanding pilihanraya negeri Sarawak lima tahun yang lalu.
Eloklah saya memperingatkan para pengundi di Sarawak bagaimana anda dihina para penyokong Pakatan Rakyat ketika itu dengan kata-kata kesat kerana memberi kepercayaan sekali lagi kepada Barisan Nasional.
Tiba 2016, Pakatan Harapan kembali memberi janji manis serta menunjukkan sikap berbudi bicara dan hormat kepada para pengundi negeri Sarawak dengan harapan dapat menyingkirkan kerajaan Barisan Nasional pimpinan Adenan Satem.
Malang bagi mereka, kemenangan yang lebih besar diberikan kepada BN kali ini dan DAP kehilangan setengah kerusi yang disandangi pada PRN-10.
Marah dengan keadaan itu, para penyokong DAP dan PKR kembali mengeluarkan kata-kata kesat kepada orang-orang Sarawak. Nampaknya mereka tidak akan berubah pendapat terhadap orang-orang Sarawak.
Sila kongsikan posting ini dengan rakan-rakan anda di seluruh negeri Sarawak dan amatlah diharap agar pengajaran biadap yang diberikan oleh para penyokong Pakatan Harapan ini tidak dilupakan langsung oleh para pengundi negeri Sarawak dan dipelajari oleh negeri-negeri lain juga:

Baru Bian not looking into the mirror
I was both amused and bemused by Baru Bian’s statement in the papers. Amused because Baru Bian’s claims seem absurd and bemused because while making the statement, it was obvious Baru never looked into the mirror to reflect upon his own achievements in Ba’ Kelalan – which is close to zero.
Close to zero is what it is. One of Baru’s recent trips to Ba Kelalan was on the 6th April 2016 which was to SK Ba’ Kelalan in the village of Long Langai to present some books for the schoolchildren. While that is a good gesture, why has Baru, as the incumbent assemblyman there, turned a blind eye to the condition of the school? The hostel where the schoolchildren sleep, teachers’ quarters are all in dilapidated condition. With a limited grant from the State Education department, the school is being kept in operational condition thanks to the hard-working and very dedicated teachers under the leadership of the school’s principal, Puan Bulan Dawat, and the efforts by the parents of the schoolchildren who often provide the manpower to assist the teachers.
In the village of Buduk Nur, the request for chairs for the village’s multi-purpose hall made in 2011 to Baru also fell on deaf ears. “Nanti kita fikirkanlah” (We will think about it later) was what Baru was reported to have said to his voters. From then until recently, villagers would have to move chairs from the neighbouring church into the hall and back whenever there is a village event held inside the hall. In these modern days where many of the young adults have almost all moved out of Ba Kelalan for studies or to work, getting the manpower to clean up the hall let alone move chairs and tables back and forth every time they are needed at the hall is not easy.
That has changed. Inside the multi-purpose hall at Buduk Nur now are two sets of wireless public address systems donated by the current Chief Minister of Sarawak, and chairs and tables bearing the words “Ikhlas dari Pejabat Perdana Menteri” (Sincerely from the Prime Minister’s Office). Looking at these two gifts, I doubt they cost much – a state assemblyman could easily have afforded to buy these PA system, tables and chairs. Or he could have gotten someone to sponsor these items, but no, for five years nothing happened.
I would be absolutely wrong to say that Baru never gave anything to the people of Ba Kelalan. He did some good.

The above are water tanks supplied by the 1M4U project, an initiative founded by the Prime Minister in 2012. Villagers said that Baru claimed to them that it was through his initiative that the villagers had received these poly tanks. You won’t see these poly tanks at every house that is in need, however. They were given only to supporters and houses of single-mothers, earning him the nickname “ADUN Janda” (The Assemblyman for divorced women).
Early this year Baru presented several houses with solar power units that could generate enough power to light two bulbs all night long, or charge up to two mobile telephones simultaneously during the day. This time he made it clear that the gift was from a corporate sponsor.
So what else can be read on Baru Bian’s report card?
To say that the Barisan Nasional has done little to develop Ba Kelalan in the 48 years preceding his tenure is in a way naive bordering reckless of Baru. While it may be true that Ba Kelalan did not get much under the previous Chief Minister’s administration, Ba Kelalan fared relatively well under Barisan Nasional. Going by my layman timeline, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission’s Universal Services Provision fund helped bridge the digital divide in rural Sarawak in among others Bario and Ba Kelalan. With the introduction of the Internet and telephony to Ba Kelalan, tourism in Ba Kelalan prospered. Between January to May of 2014, Ba Kelalan’s homestays hosted 2,962 visitors earning close to RM656,000. The Ba Kelalan villages of Long Langai, Long Lemutut, Long Ritan, Long Rusu, Buduk Bui, Buduk Aru now has 24-hour electricity supply thank you to the government’s initiative to install micro-hydro systems there. The airport at Buduk Nur was built when Barisan Nasional was representing Ba Kelalan. The Long Luping to Ba Kelalan road was built with the assistance from the Ministry of Defence in 2010. That road is now in bad condition because among others hardly any maintenance is done there. What, in the last five years, has Baru Bian done to make sure the road is in good working condition?
That is five years versus Adenan Satem’s two years in office. Baru should not compare Adenan Satem with his predecessor. If I want to be petty and make comparisons, Adenan has given Buduk Nur two PA systems. What has Baru given Ba Kelalan himself? And Adenan, who hails from the Sarawakian political party called Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) has the support of Najib Razak who is from the Peninsular’s UMNO, the only Prime Minister to have made an average of eight trips to Sarawak per year since assuming office, and given billions of Ringgit back to the people of Sarawak to improve their livelihood. Both are from different parties within the Barisan Nasional coalition.
In contrast, Baru who is from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) which is a Peninsular political party, cannot even get the backing of his leadership in the Peninsular to get the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a chauvinist political party that is the de facto party in command of the Pakatan Harapan (PH), also from the Peninsular, to ask DAP to refrain from contesting in five seats that PKR is contesting in the upcoming Sarawak State Elections. I doubt if Baru could call the shots in Sarawak even without being subjugated and undermined by those in the DAP.
Baru Bian may be Barisan Nasional’s candidate Willie Liau’s uncle. But Baru Bian was born and grew up in Long Semadoh, a village 40km away from Ba Kelalan. Baru lives in Kuching, 1,200km away where he has his law practice and spends most of his time making name for himself taking on giant oil palm corporations such as IOI disguised as protecting native rights.
While Baru Bian should just remain an activist, Willie Liau who is also a lawyer is the right person for Ba Kelalan and he knows that only someone who is with the government can drive things through. Unlike Baru, Willie is from Ba Kelalan’s village of Buduk Bui, like another famous Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP) name – Datuk Nelson Balang Rining. Unlike Baru, Willie lives in the district capital of Lawas, a 125km road trip away. As mentioned by Tua Kampung Yudan Meru of Long Muda to BERNAMA recently, “Baru is a good man, but he is standing on the wrong platform. He is our brother but if he wins, it will be the same story… the people will suffer – until when?Willie is strong. I hope he wins big in Ba’Kelalan.”
Lim Kit Siang is confident DAP will lose seven seats in Sarawak
If you look at the faces above, even DAP’s Emperor Lim Kit Siang, the only dinosaur still alive since 1969, has that grim look on his face. He is confident DAP will lose seven of 12 seats held by DAP in Sarawak. Claiming that Adenan Satem is throwing money around and promising development, which is what the people of Sarawak actually want, DAP has thrown in a challenge:

If you look at the above photo, the red steel bridge costing RM60,000 will soon end up as a bridge to nowhere. Firstly, it does lead to nowhere as the land across the Batang Undup river is empty. Secondly, if you look at the erosion of the riverbank and the curvature of the river, you know that that bridge will sooner or later lead to nowhere as the banks will continue to get eroded by the river flow. Without sheet pile protecting the soil, soon the end of the river would be good as a fishing platform. If there is no anti-rust coating beneath that red paint, it would go much sooner than a wooden bridge or a steel bridge treated with anti-rust.
If the above are the ones who will be calling the shots, Baru Bian is better off as an activist on his own, working with non-governmental organisations, or work hand-in-hand with the state government for the betterment of the indigenous people of Sarawak if he is truly sincere.
As the Lun Bawangs would say, “Aleg ninger buek tang arang gawa’!” (Don’t listen to voices from the sky). Put both feet firmly on terra firma and do good for your people for once. Don’t give them honeyed words like those who have evil mind wanting to subjugate you.

DAP ukai seiti parti ti bejuang ke nasit rakyat baka ke dipadahka sida. Parti tu parti bejaie ke bansa urang bukai. Ambika chunto ba DUN Pending ti diempu sida lalu madahka parti seiti bansa aja.
Udah terang menoa Sarawak ari menya mina seitu nengeri ti lantang enggau rayat ti beserakup tang diatu mayuh penyarut ketegal DAP mantaika isu bansa. Sida iya ukai amai asal ari Sarawak. Nya mih chara enggau gaya ti enda manah tu enda manah ba kitai. Tulak parti tu.
Ba Pulau Pinang, ukai aja urang bumiputra tang bansa bukai mega mampu meli rumah enggau tanah ketegal rega diletak ke seida kelalu tinggi. Rayat ti idup mensekin merinsa nadai ruang bejaku. Rayat ba Pulau Pinang nadai hak bejaku ketegal ditindas.
Bayang ke enti Pakatan Harapan merintah menoa Sarawak. Pati tu ukai parti Sarawak. Parti tu parti ngembuan ideologi semenanjung. Udah semesti iya kitai rayat mensekin ditindas lalu nadai endur nyelepak ke diri dalam pengidup.
Sarawak deka ngundi. Maya Sarawak ngundi 7 April tu, tentu ke Sarawak diempu parti ke ulih nirika agenda Sarawak. Tulak parti ari Semenanjung baka DAP ti semina deka nyadi raja dataika kitai merinsa ensenak.
Kitai sebilik di Sarawak ukai DAP. Kitai tu ngembuan ugama kristian, Islam, Buddha enggau ke bukai ti idup beserakup ba menoa kitai. Kitai enggau belayak diri sebilik. Kitai enggai bemunsuh enggau kaban belayan ti ketegal charut bepechah ketegal ngasut pangan diri ketegal DAP.
Buai DAP. Tulak Pakatan Harapan! Terus tan ke penyerakup kitai ba menoa Sarawak.
Sarawak memilih lagi.
Kali tok, sifat tamak DAP dapat kita lihat bila sidak nya dengan sengaja sik peduli dengan rakan sidak dari PKR. Di sia sidak PKR bertanding, di sia juaklah sidak DAP tok bertanding juak. Pabila apa yang di maok sidak sik dipenuhi, lalulah DAP nyumpah seranah rakan sidak ya, lalu nak main ngembak sentimen hal perkauman dan ugama. Toklah yang membuktikan bahawa Pakatan Harapan Rakyat tok sebenarnya cuma topeng ajak untuk sidak DAP bagi mancapai kuasa memerintah.
DAP bukanlah suatu parti yang memperjuangkan nasib semua rakyat seperti apa yang dipadah sidak. Sidak DAP tok parti rasis yang memperjuangkan nasib sigek kaum ajak. Sebagai contoh, kerusi DUN Pending dimenangi hanya kerna DAP dengan terang nyebut sidak adalah parti untuk suara satu kaum ajak.
Ternyatalah Sarawak yang sejak dolok lagik negeri yang harmoni, kinektok dah diperkenalkan dengan hasutan perkauman yang di embak sidak DAP tok, sebuah parti yang bukan nya asal dari Sarawak. Budaya pecah belah dan perkauman tok wajib kita tolak.
Di Pulau Pinang, bukan ajak kaum Bumiputera, kaum-kaum lain yang sik berkemampuan terpaksa pindah keluar dari sia sebab harga rumah dan hartanah yang melampau. Rakyat miskin memang sik ada peluang bersuara langsung. Malah, wakil rakyat Pakatan Harapan di Pulau Pinang yang maok memperjuangkan suara rakyat miskin pun sik diberik peluang meluah masalah rakyat.
Bayangkan ajak kalau Pakatan Harapan berkuasa di Sarawak tok. Parti bukan Sarawak seperti DAP akan berkuasa. Suara golongan Bumiputera Sarawak serta mereka yang miskin sik kira kaum, akan ditindas.
Sarawak akan memilih. Apabila Sarawak memilih pada 7 haribulan kelak, tentukan Sarawak memilih dengan tepat. Tolak parti dari Semenanjung nun seperti DAP yang tamakkan kuasa ajak dan akan membawa perpecahan .
Keluarga kamek urang urang Sarawak tok bukan seperti DAP. Kamek urang di sitok ada ahli keluarga yang Kristian, Islam, Buddha dan lain-lain, yang mewakili rupa wajah perpaduan negeri Sarawak tok. Bayangkan kalau kamek urang tok bergaduh, berkelaiee adik-beradik dan keluarga berpecah-belah hanya kerana oleh hasutan parti sidak DAP!
Tolak DAP! Tolak Pakatan Harapan! Kekalkan perpaduan keluarga Sarawak!
The heat is certainly on Lim Guan Eng on the #NoSwimmingPool issue. The silly #BadFengShui excuse given by Teresa Kok makes the whole circus even sillier. Who in the right mind would want to buy a property that has bad Feng Shui? To make matters worse, a Melaka DAP officeholder has quit the party to become an independent. Johor-born Lim Guan Eng was a Melaka DAP person until he found it difficult to get support there that he had to contest in Penang, making the Penang DAP folks look like they are incompetent to run the affairs of their own state.

To take the heat of Lim Guan Eng, the DAP has been giving all sorts of silly excuses to defend his purchase of the property at No.25 Jalan Pinhorn:
Enter Liew Chin Tong. Liew tries to divert the whole attention to this recently-revealed document, saying that Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah was part of the plot to topple Najib Razak, a claim underscored by an enraged Mahathir who had to even confess that he was a dictator!
Nice try, Ah Tong. I can come up with such an unsigned draft and claim that it was godsent. But all I have seen so far is this:
That Ku Li signed the declaration to support Najib Razak. And unlike the unsigned document above, he actually signed the declaration of support.
We won’t forget Section 165 of the Penal Code and how similar Guan Eng’s case is to that of Khir Toyo’s. The question now is when, since the MACC is trying best to protect Guan Eng by delaying taking his statement.
The above was sent to Lim Guan Eng. it states the valued price of the bungalow at No.25, Jalan Pinhorn. Yet, Guan Eng had the cheek to say the following:

Fine that it is acting against errant civil servants but has it said anything about Lim Guan Eng’s case.
Suddenly, Lim Guan Eng came up with a very weird statement:
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng today expressed surprise over the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) saying it previously investigated his tenancy at a Penang home, saying it never contacted him regarding the case.
He also questioned why the MACC neither announced that it had investigated him over the issue nor the outcome of the investigation.
“It is intriguing that the MACC in Penang said it once investigated my tenancy at the home in 2009. If that is so, why did it not announce to the public in 2009 that this was baseless?

It begs the question: is the MACC on the Opposition’s payroll?
Today, Datuk Huan Cheng Guan has lodged a report against Lim Guan Eng on the No.25 Jalan Pinhorn property issue and how it is linked to the Taman Manggis land sale.
Earlier, Lim Guan Eng mentioned in a press conference that he had no knowledge that the Taman Manggis land had been earmarked for the construction of low-cost affordable homes. Perhaps Guan Eng also suffers from memory loss like Mahathir:
The MACC, probably under pressure to do something as the spotlight is now on the agency, has announced that an investigation paper has been opened on the Lim Guan Eng case:
A previous investigation on Lim Guan Eng was forwarded to the MACC HQ in 2010 but there was no further action – not even forwarded to the then-Attorney-General, not even to its oversight panel. Of course there wasn’t any donkey cries as in the recent case of the SRC/1MDB. Let me recap:

GEORGETOWN: Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Pulau Pinang sudah menyerahkan kertas siasatan berkaitan kos ubah suai dan sewa banglo mewah Ketua Menteri, Lim Guan Eng, kepada ibu pejabat suruhanjaya itu di Putrajaya, bulan lalu.
Perkara itu disahkan Pengarah SPRM negeri, Datuk Latifah Md Yatim, pada sidang media di pejabatnya di sini, pagi ini.
“Kami sudah serahkan kepada ibu pejabat untuk tindakan lanjut,” katanya yang enggan mengulas lanjut.
Julai lalu, Pemuda Gerakan Pulau Pinang, membuat laporan kepada SPRM berhubung kos pengubahsuaian banglo mewah yang disewa Guan Eng di Jalan Pinhorn di sini.
Laporan itu dibuat selepas Guan Eng tidak memberi maklum balas terhadap permintaan Gerakan yang mahu beliau menjelaskan isu berkaitan banglo sewa itu termasuk nilai sewaan.
Ketua Menteri berpindah ke banglo berkenaan kerana kediaman rasmi, Seri Teratai di sini, mengalami kerosakan serta banyak anai-anai.
Pada sidang media itu, Latifah juga memaklumkan tiada tindakan pendakwaan terhadap mana-mana pihak berhubung dakwaan Aminah Abdullah bahawa beliau cuba disogok supaya menarik diri pada pilihan raya kecil Dewan Undangan Penanti, Mei lalu.
“SPRM memperakukan tiada mana-mana pihak akan didakwa dalam kes ini,” katanya.
Menjelang pilihan raya kecil itu, Aminah yang bertanding atas tiket Bebas mendakwa didatangi pemimpin Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) dengan menawarkan jawatan Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP) dan wang tunai RM80,000 supaya menarik diri daripada bertanding.
Aminah, yang juga bekas Ketua Wanita PKR negeri turut mendakwa PKR menawarkan jawatan Timbalan Ketua Menteri I jika beliau menang pilihan raya kecil itu, dengan syarat menyertai semula parti itu.
Beliau mendakwa didatangi seorang pegawai kepada Exco kerajaan negeri dan seorang ahli majlis PKR negeri untuk membuat tawaran itu.
So when an investigation paper on a member of the Opposition gets to the MACC HQ, it enters a black hole.
We will see how far will this “investigative” effort get. Perhaps, it will be just another NFA.
By the way, does anyone still remember that there was an allegation of abuse of power by a senior ranking MACC officer but was dismissed by the MACC top man? Apparently there already was a police report being made on that in Kota Bharu just after when the alleged abuse of power took place. No action was taken.
Recently there was another report made in the Klang Valley by the same complainant on the same allegation involving the same MACC person. So far that too has been met with silence on both the PDRM and the MACC side.
Is the MACC covering for the wrong-doings by its ranks?
Roughly a year ago the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission began drumming up for war against 1MDB with one goal and one goal only – to piece together selective evidences collected so there would be a corruption case against Najib Razak. As an investigator, that is how I perceive the investigation conducted by the MACC.
Recently, there has been an exposé on a certain property at No.25 Jalan Pinhorn in Georgetown, Pulau Pinang. In the words of MCA’s Tan Khai Beng:

The S&P sounds VERY similar to the case of the original Mr Botox, Khir Toyo, the former Menteri Besar of Selangor who, with his cohorts, caused the serious erosion of support towards the Barisan Nasional and its subsequent virtually irrecoverable loss in Selangor in 2008. Khir was sentenced to 12 months (I wish it was years instead) imprisonment for a similar property deal.
While surrounding properties have been valued at between RM5 million to RM6 million, this particular property cost Lim Guan Eng almost a third of its value. When asked about the price, Guan Eng’s pathetic excuse was:
I don’t care so much about the property. My real concern is this:
Why hasn’t the MACC concluded the investigation into the sale and purchase of the property at No.25 Jalan Pinhorn? The investigation paper was opened in 2012 and it’s been four years already with no end in sight. I am beginning to question MACC’s apartisanship and the integrity of its officers.
