Is The MACC On The Opposition’s Payroll?

For the pasr three days I have been wondering if the MACC is part of the conspiracy as mentioned by Muhyiddin a few days back. The inaction by MACC on cases involving civil servants and Barisan Nasional politicians is telling…blatantly. This latest action by MACC seems like a red herring, a diversion from the pressure it is facing:

Fine that it is acting against errant civil servants but has it said anything about Lim Guan Eng’s case.

Suddenly, Lim Guan Eng came up with a very weird statement:

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng today expressed surprise over the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) saying it previously investigated his tenancy at a Penang home, saying it never contacted him regarding the case.
He also questioned why the MACC neither announced that it had investigated him over the issue nor the outcome of the investigation.
“It is intriguing that the MACC in Penang said it once investigated my tenancy at the home in 2009. If that is so, why did it not announce to the public in 2009 that this was baseless?

Will MACC Not Act Again?

  
Today, Datuk Huan Cheng Guan has lodged a report against Lim Guan Eng on the No.25 Jalan Pinhorn property issue and how it is linked to the Taman Manggis land sale.

Earlier, Lim Guan Eng mentioned in a press conference that he had no knowledge that the Taman Manggis land had been earmarked for the construction of low-cost affordable homes. Perhaps Guan Eng also suffers from memory loss like Mahathir:

  
The MACC, probably under pressure to do something as the spotlight is now on the agency, has announced that an investigation paper has been opened on the Lim Guan Eng case:

  
A previous investigation on Lim Guan Eng was forwarded to the MACC HQ in 2010 but there was no further action – not even forwarded to the then-Attorney-General, not even to its oversight panel. Of course there wasn’t any donkey cries as in the recent case of the SRC/1MDB. Let me recap:

Julai lalu, Pemuda Gerakan Pulau Pinang, membuat laporan kepada SPRM berhubung kos pengubahsuaian banglo mewah yang disewa Guan Eng di Jalan Pinhorn di sini.
Laporan itu dibuat selepas Guan Eng tidak memberi maklum balas terhadap permintaan Gerakan yang mahu beliau menjelaskan isu berkaitan banglo sewa itu termasuk nilai sewaan.
Ketua Menteri berpindah ke banglo berkenaan kerana kediaman rasmi, Seri Teratai di sini, mengalami kerosakan serta banyak anai-anai.

Pada sidang media itu, Latifah juga memaklumkan tiada tindakan pendakwaan terhadap mana-mana pihak berhubung dakwaan Aminah Abdullah bahawa beliau cuba disogok supaya menarik diri pada pilihan raya kecil Dewan Undangan Penanti, Mei lalu.
“SPRM memperakukan tiada mana-mana pihak akan didakwa dalam kes ini,” katanya.
Menjelang pilihan raya kecil itu, Aminah yang bertanding atas tiket Bebas mendakwa didatangi pemimpin Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) dengan menawarkan jawatan Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP) dan wang tunai RM80,000 supaya menarik diri daripada bertanding.
Aminah, yang juga bekas Ketua Wanita PKR negeri turut mendakwa PKR menawarkan jawatan Timbalan Ketua Menteri I jika beliau menang pilihan raya kecil itu, dengan syarat menyertai semula parti itu.

Beliau mendakwa didatangi seorang pegawai kepada Exco kerajaan negeri dan seorang ahli majlis PKR negeri untuk membuat tawaran itu.

So when an investigation paper on a member of the Opposition gets to the MACC HQ, it enters a black hole.

We will see how far will this “investigative” effort get. Perhaps, it will be just another NFA.

By the way, does anyone still remember that there was an allegation of abuse of power by a senior ranking MACC officer but was dismissed by the MACC top man? Apparently there already was a police report being made on that in Kota Bharu just after when the alleged abuse of power took place. No action was taken.

Recently there was another report made in the Klang Valley by the same complainant on the same allegation involving the same MACC person. So far that too has been met with silence on both the PDRM and the MACC side.

Is the MACC covering for the wrong-doings by its ranks?

Muhyiddin’s Admissions

Apparently in September 2015 Muhyiddin acknowledged that there is a conspiracy to topple the Prime Minister.

He also admitted that funds are administrted by the UMNO President himself.

So why has he been jumping around like an irritated monkey?

voters that so and so is the devil reincarnated, that he is out to destroy their way of life, their rights and their religion. Hypocrisy is when you tell those oppressed that the person oppressing them has made rich his family members as well as cronies,
And then you work hand-in-hand with the very people you’ve been so bent on destroying, just so you could fulfill your political destiny and personal goals, disregarding what mental stress that you have put your voters and supporters through.
These are hypocrites. Do you know what hypocrite is in Islam?
Munafik.
And no matter how much you try to justify their hypocrisy, they are still munafiks and your trying to justify their hypocrisy has to be the most vile of acts.

Ku Klux Kling

  
It is a well known fact that Mahathir hates his Kutty-blood so much that anything that has to do with the Indian diaspora would be bad for him unless he could subjugate them and they become subservient towards him. Veteran political watchers would understand what I am referring to.

I still remember when the first two Malaysians summitted the Everest in 1997, RTM being the official media carried a live cross from the Everest base camp where jubilant Malaysians who never made it to the top were seen celebrating in the background just as Mahathir, who was the Prime Minister then, was talking to the Chef de Mission. When told of the identities of the two Malaysians, Mahathir asked, “Siapa lagi? Itu aja?” (Whom else? Only those two?)

It was a proud moment for Malaysians but you cannot help but hear the tone of disappointment in Mahathir’s voice. I Googled to find reference to that moment but had found just this:

  
It was for that reason the subsequent expedition, which I became part of, was a 100 percent Malay expedition. As part of the organising committee and the Deputy Jump Leader, together with another ex Air Force officer, Lt Aziz Ahmad, we were tasked to select freefallers from the Wilayah Skydivers, the Army’s Grup Gerakhas, the Navy’s Pasukan Khas Laut, the Police’s Komando 69, and of course from Aziz’s and my former unit, the Air Force’s Pasukan Khas Udara. TV3 was selected as the official media.

We had a fellow skydiver who was from the Transportation Corps that we would have liked to have on board but he was an Indian and was not allowed to join the team. Likewise, TV3 mustered its best documentary team and sent its best journalist who was also trained by NatGeo, the renowned Karam Singh Walia. Our Chef de Mission, the late Abdul Rahim Dahlan aka Rahim King told TV3 that no Indians were allowed to join us to the North Pole.

The damage to my friendship with the Indian officer was irrepairable. He would make fun of me to others while I had to keep myself calm and not reveal the reason his name was rejected to protect the Prime Minister from being hated by a military officer. And I never did for 18 years – until today.

All of us in that expedition to the North Pole were patriots in the face of the possibility of dying at the North Pole – and Mahathir’s vision of Malaysia Boleh.

For whatever reason, Mahathir is never proud of who he really is. He is neither Indian, nor as he claims to be – a Malay. In Penang, he would be referred to as a Kling. I could name many great Indians right from Ashok to Narendra Modi, but not a Kling one. Mahathir was great to me but only because I thought he is a Malay.

Mahathir was so great to me that when he left UMNO, I left too in 2004. I dumped my AJK Bahagian and Ketua Cawangan posts and left politics, not that I was really a politician. The only difference is I am not the hypocrite Mahathir is, so when he rejoined, I stayed out.

However, I continued to support Mahathir’s stance in almost anything and had great doubts in Najib especially when the latter was all silent at the beginning of the 1MDB hoo-hahs. That was all true until the Kling in Mahathir surfaced. He started blabbing about Altantuya, changed the 1MDB goalposts and figures several times; it was almost as if he was just casting a net to see what could be caught. When he began to sound ridiculous and helped the Opposition attack Tabung Haji, I decided the old man had gone bonkers.

I was always a pro-Mahathir. When he fired Anwar Ibrahim in September 1998, I stood outside Anwar’s official residence with a few other friends from the Kelab Bekas Komando Malaysia among the hundreds that gathered, wondering what has happened. It was the night I made my choice to support my Prime Minister because he was then my Prime Minister.

To see him now holding hands with those he incarcerated and when he was in power just whonare also those who want to undermine the sanctity of Islam in this country, so he could oust the current Prime Minister, is heartbreaking for lack of a better word. You don’t burn your house down or work with outsiders just because you have a quarrel with a sibling. Like it or not, Najib is the elder brother in UMNO and Mahathir has to respect that. He should not have resigned in 2003 if he cannot accept that his successors would have their own style and once gone he is a has-been. Working with the enemies of your party just so you can save the party is just a stupid excuse to cover up one’s insidious personal agenda.

And until Najib is found guilty ina court of law, I will continue to support him as the Prime Minister of this nation.

So who is the only other Kling that I could think of who has made it to the history books? Raja Mudaliar aka Raja Mendeliar – the Kling that helped the downfall of the Melaka Empire.

Life of Annie had every reason to disagree with my calling Mahathir Mendeliar a few months ago. I guess Life of Annie has now seen Mahathir’s colours.
On the bright side, Mahathir’s reverse  metamorphosis from a statesman back to the kling he originally was, has brought about some good for the economically oppressed Malaysians whose holidays are mostly spent abroad.

Najib Should Face Charges

 

Should he?

So said the Oversight Review Panel of the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission that met for the last time on the 24th February 2016 at 10am. The meeting lasted three hours and they concluded the meeting at 1pm.

Look at the time the above was released by The Malaysian Inciter – 7am! Now how did the ORP issue a statement before it even convened?
Suddenly, The Malaysian Inciter got blocked by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission! That’s another big lie up there that they published!

Didn’t the ORP agreed to a statement saying Najib should face the music? The Star came out with this:

  
There is a straight denial by the Chairman of the ORP on the “statement” released to The Malaysan Inciter. The Chairman issued the following statement:

  

Therefore, not only did the ORP not issue such statement, it has also denied requesting the MACC to issue a public statement on the issues.

I have a word of advice for Rohaizat, who is the Director of Strategic Communications and Media for the MACC. The MACC is a body that is supposed to be the epitome of the word integrity. Rohaizat has none and he should just resign, discard his uniform and join the line of ladies who have nothing better to do with their mouth.

  

In the meantime the police should investigate the “ORP statement”, The Malaysian Inciter, and grill Rohaizat to see who is paying him to be such a girl.

No Further Action

  
I haven’t said much about the RM2.6 billion money that was donated through a vehicle bearing Najib Razak’s name. What I know for sure is that the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission sent three officers to meet up with the source of the donation or the donor’s agent. I also mentioned on other socmed posts that the Attorney-General has every right to not indict any case that is forwarded to his office as per Article 145(3) of the Federal Constitution.

Many cry foul, till today, but could never come up with arguments based on legal facts, including (I don’t feel sorry for this) idiots who think that by being in the MACC they know everything. They simply don’t. So, let’s visit the facts.

Case Facts

  1. Najib Razak received a political donation equivalent to RM2.6 billion,
  2. The money was received through a private account bearing Najib Razak’s name.

Legal Facts

  1. The Constitution of a political party that was approved under the Societies Act allows a political party to receive political donations;
  2. Najib Razak received the donation as the Head of a political party, not as the Prime Minister or as Najib Razak the individual. To those who carry signs bearing the words “Mana RM2.6 billion” I say up yours, the money is NOT for you.
  3. Therefore, based on the facts given by paragraphs 1 and 2, there is no burden of law on Najib Razak for receiving the money.
  4. The Anti Money Laundering Act (AMLA) is a law to control monetary   transactions. Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) would have to approve those transactions.
  5. In Najib’s case, BNM had already approved the transaction. Therefore, BNM has to abide by the law, terms and regulations pertaining to the law.
  6. Approval of that transaction also means the transaction is free from any burden of the law.

Based on the facts above I opine that the Attorney-General had made the correct decision and everyone should give it a rest.

Now I hope someone would tell the Attorney-General to dig up this particular issue that I believe was buried by someone under the instruction of someone else:

To Officially Act On Secrets

  
During the Emergency many Armed Forces personnel, the Army in particular, would remember how loose talks caused the death of many.

In the present day context, imagine someone from KOMTAR leaking documents pertaining to sale of lands by the Penang state government or of the channel tunnel deal.

Not that the DAP-led government cares anyway as long as money is or has been made.

Many a times raids on “massage parlours” welcomed by law-abiding citizens and housewives end up as failures because someone had leaked details of the operations to the operators.

I welcome the Attorney-General’s proposal to amend the Official Secrets Act. Many don’t realise the dire effects of having untrustworthy employee or public servants who whistleblow without giving due consideration to the course of law. Editors of the mainstream as well as alternative media would find these leaked information as a means to increase readership. There is nothing patriotic in how these editors treat the information at hand – money is the only tangible god in their world.

I don’t want to add on anymore to integrity and what-nots because it means shit for you holier-than-thou cow shit for brain people who think secrets are things that should be shared. But perhaps you would like it if official information on DAP evangelists like Teresa Kok, Lim Guan Eng, Hannah Yeoh are leaked to members of the local IS cells by officers without integrity.

Perhaps only then you would understand the need for such amendments to the law.

Chaotic Kedah

Two years ago when I attended a meeting with an armed forces veterans association in Kedah I was briefed on some of the problems the association was facing and they asked me if there was anyone above the level of the State Secretary that I would know. I said I don’t have a direct access to the Menteri Besar but I know a few people who actually do; to which they replied:

“Tak payahlah jumpa Mukhriz, tuan. Dia bukan buat kerja pun! Asyik dok hantaq pegawai dia ja!” (There’s no point in meeting with Mukhriz, sir. He doesn’t work! He only sends his officers (to do his errands)!

I was taken by surprise. I follow Mukhriz’s Instagram account and in the early days as the Menteri Besar he would wear a jubah and attend prayer sessions in the kampungs. Even when the Prime Minister decided that Mukhriz was to become the Menteri Besar in the days leading up to the last general elections I thought it was the most correct decision although many quarters in Kedah was upset.

That all stopped just before the end of Ramadhan last year. After Aidil Fitri his account was filled with selfies with Siti Nurhaliza, Ramli Sarip, Jamal Abdillah and even Upin et Ipin! Nothing wrong with those but I happen to revisit his Instagram timeline to see if there’s any difference then and now.

Is the current chaos about Najib versus Mahathir? I doubt that very much. But the complaint about Mukhriz not meeting the rakyat, associations or even Ketua Bahagians did not stop with the complaint I received two years ago. Another group of veterans from Kedah whom I met at a reunion of Air Force veterans in Kuantan early last year also revealed the same complaints. Therefore it isn’t just the UMNO politicians who are complaining about him but also the normal Joe on the street!

Now whether or not certain UMNO quarters harbour the ambition of becoming the next Menteri Besar or not is a small matter compared to the grouses the rakyat have against Mukhriz’s administration. The complaints range from the only development Mukhriz has brought about in Kedah is to build a mall ona piece of land donated by the First Mufti of Kedah for a mosque to Mukhriz doesn’t run this state, his two officers do. UMNO Kedah insiders apparently know who these two officers are!

While the supporters of Mukhriz quicky claimed that the anti-Mukhriz movement could not gather the numbers when meeting the UMNO President yesterday, the report I received show otherwise:

  
To remove Mukhriz it would have to be done in accordance with the Kedah State Constitution and that is through the Sultan or Council of Regents, or through a vote in the state legislative council. While majority of the UMNO ADUNs are against Mukhriz, five were absent from the meeting. Assuming the five are for him, the group opposed to him would need the support of both MCA and PAS. Both PKR and the sole rep from Amanah would definitely have to take the cue from their masters in the DAP.

It is very important for those in UMNO opposed to Mukhriz to get a majority support because this can be quite different to the 2009 Perak constitutional crisis.

  
On a side note, Mahathir once changed the Kedah Menteri Besar despite getting much opposition from the Kedah UMNO but of course “My Way” was Mahathir’s way, and he believes it still is. A lesson for Mukhriz and others to learn, and Mukhriz has recently agreed with is that you can only remove a leader through legal means, and this will be a lesson he will long remember.

  
The irony of it all is Muhyiddin’s latest press statement in support of Mukhriz . This coming from a coward who backstabs his boss in order to be on top is surely the joke of the year this far.

This Brutus-wannabe ought to keep his dirty mouth shut and continue reading his two favourite tabloids for facts and continue living in a dream world.

Dear Mukhriz 

The author of the message to Mukhriz below was written by someone whom I have known since 1970.

Dear Dato Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, JP
I’ve written some humble words of comfort and advice to you and sent them to your private number only to find that all my messages to you over the years have not even been read. U didn’t even bother to read them, what more offer some kind of response. I realised that I was not very important to u, when I watched u in pain trying to remember my name at an accidental meeting. It’s a very simple name sir with only four letters. So every other next sightings of u, I try to spare u frm the same pain. I will just wave u from afar, and u’d return it with your generous and brilliant smile. 
My message is simple and if u’d care to read it, it’ll make me very happy indeed. If u’d act on it, it’ll make me proud. I will refrain making any analysis of issues surrounding the situation firstly bcos uve ignored those same ones in the past so I won’t bark at the same tree twice. Secondly I don’t really want to waste my time if uve always considered me wasting yours. I’ve made appointments without success since u took office, even at the time I was a division head. Politics unmanaged is influence lost. Perhaps u were advised that I was a trouble maker, and perhaps they’re right. I blame u mostly for the results of Kuala Kedah elections but that’s for another day. 
Today, I want u to be successful. I want u to show the world what ure made off… Of sterner stuff, I pray. And, stepping out of the shell and shadow of dear old dad at last. 
Anyone can be a billionaire or a glamorous politician just being son of the greatest Malaysian leader DrM. But can he be a leader on his own? This is a test for u sir. 
An anwar styled ‘rakyat’s’ uprising. I don’t think that’ll be very successful since your oratory skills are short of inspirational. Nevertheless money can buy show of force and rental of many buses, but can it be sustained?
Your cyberteam can prolong a perception war, but if ure no longer MB, the team would slowly dispurse as power attracts and no power dispells. 
Best for u now, is to call for calm. To say in your press release that, saya menyerahkan keputusan seluruhnya kepada pucuk pimpinan yg telah memberi keyakinan kepada saya selama ini.’ 
Secondly, please call the Prime Minister whom you have never voluntarily called to explain and report to him on the situation. 
The issue now, is not between u and him, mukhriz and najib, but between u and the 15 bahagians which have lost confidence in u ( including yours). 
The third action is to call them for a meeting since ure still party head of Kedah, so they can tell that they have lost confidence in u to your face and be answerable to your cross examination. 

On this point I am truly perplexed that u haven’t the faintest idea this was coming and not addressed them early. Ignoring phone messages is not same as ignoring a coup my friend. U can turn this around and still comeout smelling like roses if u chose to. A leader is measured by how he handles a challenge and comes out of a trial. 
Be that man or do the honorable.
