Marital Rape: Congrats To Allah’s Soldiers

Much have been said about sex in Islam lately, from both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.  This came about when Yeo Bee Yin, the state assemblywoman  for Damansara Utama championed a campaign on rape awareness with the tagline, “Without her consent, it is rape. No excuse.”  This is seen by some as an attack on Islam where there is no such thing as marital rape. No, there is no such thing as a marital rape in Islam, but there are guidelines on the sexual relationship between husbands and wives.  The Quran has more than 20 verses outlining the dos and don’ts between husbands and wives.  While the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has been quoted as saying that a wife has to submit to a husband’s sexual needs even while they are riding the back of a camel as mentioned by the Mufti of Perak, Islam recognizes the women’s need for love, affection and foreplay.  Imam Ibn al-Qayyim reported in his famous “Tibbun Nabawi” that the Prophet (pbuh) forbade in engaging in sexual intercourse before foreplay (al-Tibb an-Nabawi 183, from Jabir ibn Abdullah).

The issue above has caught the attention of many up to the point that non-Muslims are ridiculing Muslims and Islamic practices on the social media.  What drove Yeo Bee Yin, a Christian with known affiliation to the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship, to come up with such a campaign tagline is beyond me.  A simpler “Protect Women From Rape“, or “Say No To Rape“, or “Women Expect Men To Protect Them From Rape” would have been more acceptable, instead of creating the perception that Muslims are barbarians whose main reason of existence is to be able to cum as many times as they can in a day.  Perhaps, in her subtle way, Bee Yin was trying to undermine the sanctity of Islam as the Religion of the Federation as stipulated in the Federal Constitution of Malaysia.  I will let you decide that on your own.  Maybe Bee Yin et al should also highlight what else God had said about sexual intercourse and how barbaric a religion can be:

1.  For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. (Remember women, you are your husband’s property)

2. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love.

3. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. (So, wives should not say no to sexual advances by the husbands).

4. The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine (if you follow this, no semen would have penetrated by 4cm).

5. If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. (Death to gay men).

6. Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. But all the young girls who have not known man by lying with him keep alive for yourselves. (Young girls? Is this Islamic? Oh, but Muhammad married a child!)

Now from which verses of the Quran did I pick those up?

1. 1 Corinthians 7:4

2. Proverbs 5:18-19

3. 1 Corinthians 7:5

4. 1 Timothy 1:10

5. Leviticus 20:13

6. Numbers 31:17-18

Perhaps the Christian Evangelists want to have a look at their own backside backyard first before commenting on others’? Once that is done then Bee Yin can again congratulate Allah’s soldiers.

STOP USING RELIGION TO MASK YOUR POLITICAL AMBITIONS, YEO BEE YIN!

The Drama King

The Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) which is a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional is at loggerheads with the Registrar of Societies as the latter had detected irregularities in the MIC party elections. As such, the RoS had instructed the MIC to hold another party elections or something to that effect. The party’s President, G Palanivel has thus far disobeyed the RoS instruction.

Enter the party’s Secretary-General, Kumaar Aamaan, who some say is the illegal Sec-Gen given that the RoS did not recognise the party elections thus rendering all appointees illegal. He went to the RoS office and went on a hunger strike:

2015/01/img_1318.jpg

He also declared that he would fast until his last breath:

2015/01/img_1324.png

Then he said because of his hunger strike, he received a death threat:

2015/01/img_1323.png

Now, why would anyone bent on dying for his cause feel threatened by a death threat? It does sound funny, doesn’t it?

I really think he was feeling very hungry at that point:

2015/01/img_1326.jpg

And just as I thought he would sit there through the weekend in front of the RoS office, all skin and bones, came the shocking news:

2015/01/img_1335.png

SAY WHAT???? You said you were going to fast until your last breath! Are you hungry?

2015/01/img_1334.jpg

That is the Drama King who has turned the much-respected MIC into another lawless DAP. If you think that that’s funny, wait until the next bomb I am about to drop:

WHERE ARE THOSE BN PEOPLE WHO MADE SO MUCH NOISE ABOUT THE DAP DISOBEYING THE INSTRUCTION FROM THE ROS LAST YEAR? WHY HAVE THEY ALL GONE SILENT?

Now you may laugh and wonder.

The Malay Sybarites

This is a bit overdue. With all the “bangang” accusations being thrown to and fro between pro-UMNO bloggers (I was made there are several camps with different paymasters) and the independent pro-BN bloggers, I decided to hold the issue for a while until things have quieten down.  I am not exactly a pro-BN blogger, nor do I have any love for the opposition and their loose coalition, nor that I am a paid blogger as I have never had to use political connections to feed my family in any way whatsoever.  I am the simple nine-to-five, salary-earning employee who watches what goes on around him and voices out once in a while when things are not right.  The “bangangs” then would be those who are chosen by the rakyat to govern on the rakyat’s behalf yet think they can do no wrong and are above criticisms.

The reason for the title above is because people don’t find it bordering on racism if I bash the Malays.  Malay-bashing, in Malaysia, is not racist at all and outsiders (non-Malaysians) are often invited to bash the Malays as well.  Furthermore, being a Malay, it would make me a racist to bash those from my own race.  However, be advised that while what I will write will orbit around the title above, with a broader mental horizon you would be able to see that what follows may also apply to other races.  Of course, to maintain a non-racist post, I shall name my victims collectively as the Malays.

Like it or not, the UMNO of today is a far cry compared to the UMNO people of my age or older were.  I touched on how the late Tun Razak was when it came to shouldering the responsibilities the post of Prime Minister burdened him with.   In my opinion, UMNO was and is still regarded by those who join it as a platform to make money on the pretext of helping the Malays.  Mind you, the same phenomena also exists in other political parties on both sides of the fence.  You would not have seen this in the initial phase of the Barisan Alternatif; you’re seeing this now in the Pakatan-ruled states.  The saying “power corrupts” still holds true.

When one joins UMNO (or any other political party for that matter), it is almost always on the invitation by someone who already is a member.  The new member will first be introduced to the introducer’s circle of “friends” who will have a Padrone, who is either the Branch Head, or the Deputy Branch Head.  Then comes the need to champion whoever the Padrone is in order to put him in place, and make sure the Padrone’s people fill up as many committee posts as possible.  This is then replicated at the Division level.  Getting into the Division’s Padrone’s good books allows one Branch Padrone to solicit small contracts as a Bumiputera Class ‘F’ contractor, which job then gets sub-contracted to (almost always) a non-Bumi contractor.  This simply means that at times, a non-Bumi contractor will become a project-financier, or finance the bid for contracts that are meant for Bumiputera contractors simply because the Malay contractors are a lazy lot and all they want is big bucks for less or no work done.  So, for those who whine about inequality, please bear in mind that the Bumiputeras are only allocated 30 percent while the non-Bumiputeras have 70 percent to grab.  Demographically, 61.4 percent of the population are allocated 30 percent of the opportunities to make wealth while the other 38.6 percent (of which the Chinese make up 24.6 percent) have the 70 percent opportunities to make wealth.

You see the above also happening in the Pakatan-run states albeit with different mechanisms.  Same goal, nevertheless.

Money begets power, and with every party election, more money has to be made in order to retain the power and position to make money – and this is true on both sides of the political fence. Hence, you see absolute nepotism in parties like PKR and DAP, while cronyism remains rife in other political parties.  You have cronies becoming CEOs of important companies; young brats who cannot even make proper presentations.  Then you have the opposition condemning such arrangements as being non-ethical when they themselves do it in government machineries in the states that they control.  What makes it worse are those who continuously condemn the government in public and on social media, yet thrive on servicing government contracts.

Political parties and members no longer lead the monastic way of life as how the political parties and members were back in the 1950s, 1960s and the 1970s.  The uplines, if you must, live lavishly, while their downlines slog to maintain this while trying to earn some crumbs for themselves as religious acolytes would.  I don’t know how UMNO, or any other political party went down the drain this way, but this greed must have predicated on a system that was created perhaps in the late 1980s.  I have not made any mention of PAS because PAS is in a league of its own, abusing religion for its own survival as if it exists to represent God on Earth.

How do we change all this?  In my opinion it would take a miracle for this to change.  As long as the young idolise their sybarite leaders, this country will continue to slide into the cesspool of failed nations.  Perhaps, changing the system would help arrest the rot, but it would take political will to effect change.  And that is where we need miracles!

Press Statement by YB Zuraida on IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar

2 September 2014

The IGP has gone overboard with his latest arrest of the Penang Voluntary Patrol Unit (PPS). As IGP, he cannot simply declare any society as illegal and should go through proper procedures. Any society unregistered with the ROS must first be declared illegal by the ROS like Hindraf. There must also be proof that the society had tried to register with the ROS and was declined its registration.

The scenario for PPS is different. PPS is part of the Penang State Government body and comprises of the state exco members and state assemblymen.

The IGP should be aware that he is a public servant and that the public’s interest comes first. The police force should not be used as a means to oppress the public.

PPS had always been a voluntary unit to help the community in emergencies and disasters. If the PDRM had been efficient, there would be no need for volunteers to step up and help the police in their work. These volunteers sacrifice their family time just to make their neighbourhood a safer place to live in. Due to the community spirit and selflessness of these PPS members, crime rates in Penang have gone down.

PPS was set up many years ago. There is no reason why the IGP should suddenly and unjustly call it illegal and start to crackdown on these innocent volunteers when all along, these PPS members report to their respective neighbourhood police stations before patrolling the area. Threatening to raid the homes of these volunteers unless they surrender themselves to the police is also absurd and an abuse of power.

The IGP has shown very weak leadership.

In the case of Victor Wong and Nasrul, both who offended the IGP by describing him as Henrich Himmler and Anjing BN respectively, and subsequently being directed by the IGP that both be investigated by the Police Cyber Investigation Response Centre (PCIRC) shows a lack of tolerance for personal opinion. Even after Victor Wong tweeted an apology to the IGP and PDRM, Khalid is bent on taking action against the two under Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 and Sedition Act 1948.

These heavy-handed clampdown on those in opposition towards the Federal Government is a repeat of Operasi Lalang.

The IGP should be reminded that the PDRM is not his personal army.

YB Zuraida Kamaruddin
Ahli Parlimen Ampang
Ketua Wanita Keadilan

I instantaneously burst into laughter after reading the statement above. Of course, Zuraida aka Mak Lampir is just one of those Lab Monkeys the PKR fielded in 2008 and never expected to have won the seat.  Perhaps she, like Wan Azizah, need to have a good grasp of their surroundings and of current affairs before coming up with such bravado (Wan Azizah still thinks that the Lembaga Letrik Negara or LLN still exists!).

The Royal Malaysian Police only affected the arrest of more than a hundred members of the illegal Persatuan or Pertubuhan Peronda Sukarela (PPS) or whatever you call it by on the 31st August 2014, that Lim Guan Eng claims to have been set up four years ago under the powers vested to the Penang State Government to assist the police in crime-fighting.  However, members of the PPS have been seen putting up DAP party flags and banners instead and have been involved in acts that are extrajudicialis.  Nothing much is known about the PPS despite having been set up for four years. No paper work, no guidelines, nothing.  It is just a band of vigilantes set up in the name of the state government.

The action by the police was taken after a warning was issued for the PPS NOT to gather on the 31st August 2014.  This was after the letter below dated 26th August 2014 from the Registrar of Societies was received:

Letter from RoS on the status of the PPS
Letter from RoS on the status of the PPS

With such information in hand, only idiots like Zuraida and those who support her still think that it is absurd and an abuse of police power for going after the members of the PPS.  Lim Guan Eng’s feeble attempt at equating the PPS to the JKKK is also a funny act.  The JKKK (Jawatankuasa Keselamatan dan Kemajuan Kampung) is formed under the local government to become a committee to channel issues affecting the socio-welfare, development and security of a kampung.  They do not have extra-judicial but absent powers and do not wear any uniform like that of the PPS.

Sméagol and Gollum. Innocent and dangerous at the same time.
Sméagol and Gollum. Innocent and dangerous at the same time.

If Lim Guan Eng is so adamant that the police in Penang are short-handed, why not utilise the funds paid tot he PPS members to provide allowances to support the RELA and Rukun Tetangga initiatives, both which are legal organisations empowered to assist the police when needed? Why the need to set up a shady uniformed organisation that has no guideline whatsoever and does all DAP’s biddings?

Anyway, as I mentioned, Zuraida is a lab monkey from the 2008 era. Had she read the letter from the RoS above and understood its content and where it falls on the timeline, she might not have issued such  press statement that excites the public’s disaffection against the administration of justice.

Zuraida Kamaruddin's press release smacks of seditious tendencies

As other lab monkeys gone rogue, she needs to be hauled up too!

Masquerade

Firstly, I do not know who gave the title “Constitutional Expert” to Professor Aziz Bari.  The fact that he used to lecture at the law faculty of the International Islamic University does not make him one.  It is like saying every soldier is a demolitions expert. However, everyone can safely deduce that he leans more towards Pakatan Rakyat, especially PKR, politically.

Probably every Tom, Dick and Harry might have responded to Aziz Bari’s claim that the Sultan of Selangor has no right to ask for more names for the latter to choose as the next Menteri Besar of Selangor.  He said this as reported by Malaysiakini’s Pakar: Sultan Tiada Kuasa Minta Banyak Nama (27th August 2014). In his statement, Aziz said that in a Parliamentary system, the (state) government is responsible to the state assembly, not to the Sultan. He added that the Sultan only has to agree to appoint the candidate with the most support in the state assembly as the Menteri Besar.

“Majority,” he said to Malaysiakini, “is the only (appointment) criteria, therefore the Sultan has no right to request for more names since there is already majority.”

Perhaps our “Constitutional Expert” does not know much on the history behind the Constitution. The Rulers may be Constitutional Monarchs but ours is not the same as the Westminster Monarch that they have in England.  In England, the monarchy was reinstated with the installation of King Charles II by Parliament after the failure of Oliver Cromwell’s Republic that followed the decapitation of King Charles I.  All laws are passed by Parliament without the Queen’s Consent (or King’s Consent if the Ruler of England is male) save for four things: bills affecting the royal prerogative (whatever the royal prerogatives are, are quite shady due to the nature of the uncodified Constitution in England). The second is bills affecting the hereditary revenues of the Duchy of Lancaster or the Duchy or Cornwall. Third, bills affecting the personal property of the monarch, and lastly, bills affecting the “personal interests” of the monarch.

To understand the role of the Rulers in Malaysia one must take several steps back in the history of this nation.  The mistake made by the government since those days is to instill the spirit of nationalism into every Malaysian.  The simplest way is to say that we were colonised by the British, and that we gained independence for them – which would only be true for Pulau Pinang, Melaka and Singapore. When Malaya gained “independence” only Pulau Pinang and Melaka rejoined Malaya while Singapore remained a British colony.  The British were here by virtue of the various treaties made with the respective Malay rulers.  British advisers were appointed and were paid by the Sultan who appointed them to administer the state on behalf of the Sultan.  They basically administered everything except for matters that affected Islam and the Malay customs, which remained the Sultan’s sole prerogative.  When the British administration left in 1957, this role was taken over by the Menteri Besar and the state executive assembly that form the administration part of the state government through elections.  The executive power remains with the Sultan. This is evident in Article 181(1) of the Federal Constitution that says:

“Subject to the provisions of this Constitution,” the “sovereignty, prerogatives, powers and jurisdiction of the Rulers…as hitherto had and enjoyed shall remain unaffected.”

The same was noted by Mark R Gillen of the Faculty of Law, University of Victoria (Gillen 1994:7). In the words of the late Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah, former Lord President, it is:

“a mistake to think that the role of a King, like that of a President, is confined to what is laid down by the Constitution, His role far exceeds those constitutional provisions” (Azlan Shah 1986:89)

On Aziz Bari’s claim that the (state) government is answerable to the state assembly and not to the Sultan, may I remind Aziz Bari that in Article 50 of the Selangor Constitution, 1959, it says;

“The executive authority of the State shall be vested in His Highness and exercisable, unless otherwise provided by the Federal Constitution or this Constitution, by him or by the State Executive Council or any member of the State Executive Council authorised by the State Executive Council, byt executive functions may by law be conferred on other persons or authorities.”

You cannot form a government without the consent of the Sultan; hence the need for the Menteri Besar and members of the Executive Council to take an oath of office before the Sultan to administer the State on behalf of the Sultan.

On Aziz Bari’s claim that the Sultan is only to appoint as Menteri Besar whoever has the support of the majority in the state assembly, Aziz Bari should go back to where he read law and ask for his money back.  The Selangor State Constitution explicitly states in Articles 51 and 53(2) that the appointment of the Menteri Besar is the prerogative of the Sultan. The person to be appointed as Menteri Besar is a person, IN HIS MAJESTY’S JUDGMENT is likely to command the confidence of the majority of the members of the Assembly.  Therefore it is right for His Royal Highness to ask for more than two names to be submitted by each political party that has the majority command of the state assembly.

The same happened in Terengganu when UMNO wanted Idris Jusoh to continue on as the Menteri Besar after the 2008 General Election but the Sultan overruled and insisted on Ahmad Said instead.

The above is the form of democracy with the Sultan having the right to choose whom to head the executive branch of his government to administer the state on His Majesty’s behalf.  What is not democratic is Rafizi Ramli’s instruction to Selangor State Assemblymen under PKR except Wan Azizah and Azmin Ali to decline if nominated as the Menteri Besar by the other parties.

This is to choose a state government FOR THE PEOPLE, not for PKR. Rafizi should just shut up and hide behind his boss, while Aziz Bari ought to ask for his law school fees back, find a better law school and stop this masquerade.

Monkey’s Bazaar

Khalid Ibrahim today was granted an audience with HRH The Sultan of Selangor to discuss the current impasse related to the Menteri Besar issue. After the meeting, the Office of The Sultan of Selangor issued this release:

IMG_7262.JPG

In the statement, HRH The Sultan of Selangor decreed that each of the party in the loose coalition called Pakatan Rakyat should submit MORE THAN TWO NAMES as candidates for the Menteri Besar post. In the meantime, Khalid Ibrahim shall continue to enjoy the confidence of HRH The Sultan of Selangor to continue head HRH’s government as the Menteri Besar.

Hours later, Parti Keadilan Rakyat and the Democratic Action Party issued a joint statement as follows:

DATO’ SAIFUDDIN NASUTION ISMAIL
Setiausaha Agong KEADILAN

TONY PUA
Setiausaha Publisiti DAP

26 Ogos 2014

I am beginning to wonder if any of the monkeys above understand Bahasa Malaysia? I can forgive Tony Pua as I doubt his want for a Malaysian Malaysia includes the abolishment of vernacular schools. What of Saifuddin Nasution? Perhaps this monkey would like to use the Prefix “71” in his identity card number as an excuse to not have a god command of Bahasa Malaysia.

Well, if they claim to be human beings, then I would categorise them as “derhaka” and should be banished from the state of Selangor.

By the way, please note the sidelining of PAS from this communiqué.

This truly is becoming a Monkey’s Bazaar!

Khalid Ibrahim Complains To ROS

The Menteri Besar of Selangor has lodged a complaint to the Registrar of Societies to declare his sacking by Parti Keadilan Rakyat null and voide as it is ultra vires of PKR’s Constitution. This is the latest in a series of legal moves by Khalid Ibrahim against PKR and pakatan-leaning media:

Guarantees Unguaranteed

When Selangor decided to end the scheduled water-rationing end of April 2014, I often wondered the reason such a decision was made, when it was clear then that the water levels at dams supplying much of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur were far from being at their optimal level. That decision came about after residents and PKR’s governing-partner DAP went ballistics over the hardship everyone was facing. The Menteri Besar, Abdul Khalid Ibrahim announced the end of scheduled water-rationing because there would be enough water to last till at least September.

The El Nino that was anticipated by both meteorologists and water industry experts since the late 1990s hit Peninsular Malaysia early June. I kept telling my wife that there will come a day this month that water-rationing would commence again.

Let us see what the Selangor Exco told the press on 17th June 2014:

20140626-233602-84962032.jpg

This Exco guaranteed us that there would not be any water rationing in the near-future!

20140626-233723-85043653.jpg

He even said we need not worry as the current water supply is sufficient for the next four to five months!

20140626-233838-85118730.jpg

Suddenly, nine days later we find the Selangor river without sufficient water to be supplied to water treatment plants:

20140626-234004-85204838.jpg

Another guarantee unguaranteed! Well, what do you expect from a state government that publicly declared its election manifesto does not equate election promises?

The Definition of Integral

When the Turks charged at the British lines during the Battle of Gallipoli, they cried “Allahu Akbar.” The British soldiers retorted, “Come and get your Allah here!”

If the same British soldiers are here now, they would be utmost disappointed that the Christians in Malaysia now want to accept Allah – the name of the God they believed to be false – as the special noun to replace the word “god”.

Why am I still on this issue? Some lawyers now say whatever decree the Agong issues, is not binding for non-Malays and non-Muslims.

Fine. The Malay Rulers may not have intrinsic powers left apart from dissolving or withholding a cabinet or state assembly, appoint a Prime Minister or a Menteri Besar, and protect the religion of Islam and Malay customs. I shall not dwell too deeply into this but my friend SatD has written a very good piece on this in his blog Pure Shiite.

What is most important is that when the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) confiscated those Bibles containing the special noun “Allah”, they were acting on the provisions of Section 9 of the Selangor Shariah Criminal Enactment which prohibits the use of 25 or so Islamic words and nouns in non-Muslim publications. You will be committing a crime merely by having one in your house or car, let alone propagate one to a Muslim (or more).

What does the Shariah enactment have to do with non-Muslims, you may ask. Everything! It is NOT an Islamic law, it is a State law! Actually, it is a State Criminal Law! And a state criminal law applies to all be they Muslims or otherwise. And it is a STRICT LIABILITY law! Like I said, you have one, you break the law!

You constitutional law sexperts may also argue that the law is unconstitutional. It may be so. But it is the state law until and until a Constitutional court decides otherwise.

Oh, cry foul all you want and claim that the Apellate Court judges were all Malays. This is the part that I do not understand. All these challenges to the decision of the Apellate Court may be a norm to some of you common criminals and petty lawbreakers; the judges may not even hazard to act against them but the person who should be taking action, the Attorney-General, should. It is in contempt of a court ruling. What does that tell me, a layman? The A-G is simply useless for allowing lawlessness become a norm.

When Muslims cry foul to the Christians saying that “Allah” is an integral part of Islam, it is because the concept of trinity is an antithesis of the “Oneness” of Allah. The special noun refers to The God, One and Only God. Not a God that needs a trike to be able to “stand.”

The Christians lashed back saying that the Muslims should not tell them what is integral and what is not to them, saying that Allah is integral to the Christians. Else why quarrel over the special noun?

The word “integral” means something that if not present, does not complete something. Like tyres to cars.

Let me ask them this: if “Allah” is integral to the Christian faith, does this mean that the Popes, for 2,000 years, all the way from St Peter Petrus, have gotten it all wrong?

Maybe those adamant to use the special noun “Allah” can now shout to the Pope to come get his “Allah” here.

Pushing The Envelope

Malays were born to be fools.

That is from my simple observation of history, and of the media – both mainstream and alternative ones. Whether or not you agree with me is none of my business as nothing that I have written thus far was to beget your seal of approval nor was it to get your agreement. Like it or not, the Malays were born to be fools…

…and to be fooled by others.

Being fools and being easily fooled by others is what other races recognise. Because of that, they keep pushing the envelope.

From 1930 through 1970, the Malays were minorities in their own land. They were sidelined from the riches of their own land and Dr Lennox A Mills noted:

“…when the British came, the Malay was a poor man in a poor country; when the British left, he was a poor man in a rich country.”

The Malays remained backwards and were told to stay as peasants or tillers of the soil, the Chinese inherited all the tradings in the Malay States and became the richest residents, and the Indians remained as rubber-tappers without proper infrastructure. The Malays, according to Chai Hon-Chan:

“…merely retreated from the tide of commercial activity and material prosperity…whereas the British, Europeans, Chinese and Indians had the lion share of the country’s wealth…”

For those reasons up there majority of the Malays rejected the idea of the Malayan Union and automatic citizenship for the immigrants. The only Malays who were keen on an independent Malaya were those who originated from Sumatera and wanted to unify Malaya with the rest of Indonesia under Batavia so the Malays do not come under the rule of other races. However, the. Malays of Malaya were united in wanting a Malay rule with the protection accorded by the Malay rulers i.e the status of Islam as well as the status of the Malays. The Chinese especially, kept pushing the envelope. When the straw finally broke the camel’s back in May 1969, the Malays retaliated with a violent outcome.

Economic advantage post-1969 brought about purchasing power to the Malays. As a result, the Malays began to worship money, as money would bring more power to bring in more money: in short, greed has taken over unity, protection of Islam and the Malay rights as the paramount priority. Malay leaders are seen to live lavishly. With them come the jockeys, parasites in short, much like the Cobias that swim with Whale Sharks hoping for whatever scrap that comes out from the sharks in order to live. When the mule collapse, the jockeys cry foul, as we have seen in 1988 and again ten years later. The greed for power in order to make money remains with the Malays nevertheless, only in a cruel way. The Malays are now more gullible because of the greed, and are willing to sell their values, their rights, their religion, and the Malay rulers institution just so they can grasp at whatever that is within their reach. The fools that the Malays are, they split into several political factions and even dare to bring each other down, supporting the non-Malays in pushing the envelope – Quislings helping the non-Malays destroy Islam and the Malays.

And every single day we find the Malays jeering at those who defend Islam and the Malay rights. Although the majority, the Malays are effectively minorities because of the multi-polar split. And this time around, when the straw breaks the camel’s back, the Malays will die foolishly.
