I don’t know what time it was when Frog Supreme Zaid Ibrahim went to a HINDRAF do today and spoke like he had had at least a barrel of drink.
He said that many of the country’s problems were due to unnecessary spending on private jets, submarines and mega infrastructure projects.
“We are not a superpower, we don’t need submarines. If we sell the submarines, we’ll get RM400 million to RM500 million,” he said.
I wonder if Froggy knows that the Indonesian navy has four submarines (one under construction) and Singapore has six with four more under construction?
Neither country is a superpower but Singapore, being a country with the smallest coastline, has more submarines than both Malaysia and Indonesia put together.
All three countries depend on sea lanes to survive, which is why a three-dimensional defence and deterrence is needed at sea. Then again, other than jumping parties what does he know?
Froggy also told the Indian community that the Barisan Nasional is unable to solve racial problems because it has deep racial bias. This comes from a man whose party marginalised Indians…Kampung Buah Pala et al.
Since 2009, the government has allocated RM711 million to help Indian businesses and RM660 million for the infrastructure development of Tamil National-type schools.
Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, the 10th Inspector-General of Police has retired after an illustrious four decades with the Police force.
Detractors remember him as thr IGP that had clamped down on illegal assemblies, arrested agent provocateurs and the one who has stood up when certain parties defied the law.
I choose to remember him as the IGP who, with budget constraints and constant trial by opposition media, managed to halve the crime rate in 2016 compared to the previous year, and brought down the crime index in the same period.
We should not also forget that under his leadership the men and women of the Royal Malaysian Police had thwarted countless potential terrorist attacks although one grenade managed to be lobbed at the Movida bar in Puchong.
With his retirement, Khalid has been appointed the Chairman of Prasarana Berhad as well as a special envoy for anti-terrorism/extremism and human trafficking.
Many question his appointment as the Chairman of Prasarana. Among them is DAP’s Ong Kian Ming who, being a twit, posted this question on Twitter:
I don’t blame Ong Kian Ming for displaying such stupidty. Why else do you think that he chose the DAP to be his political platform?
For those who asked the same question, Prasarana’s Chairman post is a non-executive post. Khalid does not need to get involved in the day-to-day running of the GLC. Have you heard of a Chief Executive Officer? Yes, that is the guy who runs the show.
So save some of your stupidity for later. You still have decades ahead of you.
The other person who asked the same question unfortunately is PPP’s Vice President Andrew Tiong Yap Choon who asked the following in a reply to a Facebook posting:
Perhaps he should have asked around about Khalid’s appointment. He would have easily gotten the answer as his party’s President, M Kayveas, is currently the Special Advisor to the Minister of Transport.
If he does not have direct access to Kayveas then maybe he should have asked Anthony Francis Fernandes what did he know of the airline business having jumped straight into it from the music industry?
Or just ask Benta Estate boy, Kayveas, what does he know about transportation that he got picked to advise the Minister of Transport since he is not from that background?
Clever is knowing what to ask. Wise is knowing if it should be asked. Sadly, many are neither.
In a somewhat anticipated move, Emperor Lim Kit Siang has come to the defence of his breadwinner, Tokong Lim Guan Eng.
In an article published by left-leaning Malaysiakini Kit Siang, in a reaction to MACC’s Datuk Dzulkifli Ahmad’s ultimatum to Guan Eng, said that Dzulkifli should not fall victim to hubris and power, quoting Lord Acton’s axiom “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
Quoting the US Department of Justice (DoJ) suit Kit Siang said that from page 339 to page 348 of the DoJ document that it traced the RM2.6 billion that made its way to Najib Razak’s account from 1MDB.
Pony Tua may have said something to reporters after signing the report but he should have resigned from the PAC and refused to sign should he have had any doubt or disagreement with the findings of the PAC.
He did not.
So why is Kit Siang contradicting his own people in the PAC that includes Pony Tua?
As for the axiom “power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely“, Kit Siang should first and foremost look into the mirror and tell that to himself.
What about the gag order issued on DAP vice chairman M Kulasegaran after he gave the party’s Perak secretary Nga Kor Ming a dressing down over his alleged abuse of power? Did M Kula not dress down Nga Kor Ming because of the latter’s wife’s company, Ethan and Elton Sdn Bhd, was awarded the tender to tailor lounge suits for Ipoh city councillors when Pakatan Rakyat was in power in Perak?
The award was given despite the company having charged the highest price for the suits. Rivals also pointed to the fact that the company was registered with the Companies Commission Malaysia barely 42 days after Pakatan formed the state government.
And now that his son has been charged on two accounts of corrupt practices, why is he not giving the MACC the same support he accorded when the MACC was investigating Najib Razak? Ask Guan Eng to also look into the mirror and tell himself that power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely!
When the MACC arrested and charged BN’s exco members in Johor and recently one of its powerful veterans, did BN cry like the DAP does? When Khir Toyo was charged in court and subsequently jailed for the same offence your son has committed, did BN cry like you?
So, remember what you said to the rakyat in 2015, Kit Siang? “This situation of police harassing MACC must stop!”
So now stop harrassing the MACC and let them do their work. What is it that you are so afraid of?
“Bos! SPRM manyak bagus. Kasi gua free t-shirt!”In another blatant attempt to paint a bad picture on the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commision (MACC), lawyer and also DAP Member of Parliament Ramkarpal Singh agreed with Tokong Lim Guan Eng that the detention of Mr So-What Phee Boon Poh was illegal and said such remark is justified.
He said the MACC’s statement asking Lim Guan Eng to apologise for calling it an ‘illegal detention’ within 48 hours is ill-advised “as there can be no doubt that the said statement was made having regard to the prevailing circumstances.”
‘Detention’ here is referred to the detention made after the remand order was received from the Magistrate. This remand order was then set aside by the High Court as it contravened Section 117 (5) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
In his ruling, High Court judicial commissioner (JC) Abdul Wahab Mohamed found that the word ‘shall’ in subsection 5 is mandatory, and the respondent has not submitted literature to the contrary.
The subsection says the magistrate deciding the period of detention of the accused shall allow representations to be made either by the accused himself or through a counsel of his choice.
Phee’s lawyers, Ramkarpal Singh and RSN Rayer, had argued that they were not given a chance by the senior assistant registrar of the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday to air their submissions.
Ramkarpal argued that the Magistrate’s Court senior assistant registrar had been prejudiced by allowing the five-day remand without hearing the defence of the accused lawyers.
“Wahab’s decision on 14 August 2017, which ruled that the detention of the trio was illegal since it was based on an invalid order, meant that MACC had detained them illegally after the first 24 hours of their initial arrest on 11 August 2017 passed,” Ramkarpal said.
“In the circumstances, there can be no doubt that the chief minister was justified in describing the said detention as illegal,” he added.
MACC also contended that any remark made by anyone pertaining to the issue is subjudicial and is in contempt of court as the appeal against the quashing of the remand order is already in process.
Ramkarpal said neither himself nor Phee had received a copy of the notice, and were not aware that such a notice had been filed, therefore the issue of sub judice should not arise.
My question is, how can a remand order made and signed by a Magistrate be illegal? Just because the Magistrate erred in his issuing the remand order does not make the detention illegal. It only means that the remand order has an error, but the detention was made in pursuant of the remand order issued by a Court of law.
When filing the notice of appeal with the Registrar of Court, the MACC does not need send a notice of appeal to Phee Boon Poh or his counsel. It is only later when the appeal is not rejected that the Court of Appeal shall notify the parties involved of the time and place for the hearing of the appeal. This is provided for in the Courts of Judicature Act, 1964.
And as Phee Boon Poh is still under investigation and was released only from remand and not freed from a prison sentence, any statement made pertaining to his detention is sub judice in nature.
This is something Ramkarpal who is an officer of the Court by virtue that he is a legal practitioner ought to know and uphold.
But of course, he is also a DAP Member of Parliament. People from the DAP do not abide by laws of the land and behave like outlaws.
And it is because of this behaviour that Sungai Lembu has cancer occurrences that are 2,343 percent higher than the national average, and this is what the DAP is trying to stop the MACC from investigating, and trying to stop the MACC from protecting the lives of the people who had voted for Pakatan.
Selangor masih belum tandatangani Ikrar Bebas Rasuah
Rakyat memerhati. Dan rakyat tahu segala usaha memperkecilkan usaha SPRM memerangi gejala rasuah dan salahguna kuasa bermakna there is SOMETHING FOR SELANGOR TO HIDE.
The Grand Ah-So from BERSIH wants police to stop political violence
Maria China Abdullah, the Grand Ah-So of BERSIH, has spoken out against the silence of the country’s leaders on the recent political violence involving solely Parti Pemecah Belah Melayu (PPBM) members.
She said that this is the first time that Malaysia is experiencing such political violence because the country’s leadership refuses to say anything. She also added that the Inspector-General of Police and the Home Minister must take a drastic stand to stop political violence.
My guess is this somewhat non-halal Khadijah binti Khuwaylid wanna-be is the kind of mother who would blame the teachers at a PTA meeting for her children’s unruly behaviour and expects the teachers to bring her children up while she spends her time doing her nails and playing Candy Crush.
And I don’t know when, in recent times, did she get off the steamship from England (she was born in England in 1956) that she does not know the history of political violence in Malaysia. Maybe I ought to share with her some of my writings to show who has been advocating political violence and is now using others to do so for him.
Less than two years before the 13 May 1969 tragedy happened, a Hartal protest in Pulau Pinang ended up as a racial clash that saw 27 dead and 137 people injured.
Violence erupted at a PPBM event in Shah Alam last week after pro-Mahathir supporters threw chairs to stop sensitive questions being posed to the ancient estateman
Last weekend’s violence at the EVERYTHING TUN HIDE event organised by PPBM erupted when PPBM members themselves started throwing chairs at Wan Muhammad Ashraf Nasjamuddin, PPBM Shah Alam’s Logistics and Security Chief to prevent him from asking Mahathir any question. Prior to Wan Muhammad Ashraf, Taufik Abas who is a former PPBM AMANDA’s exco asked Mahathir about his involvement and thoughts on the Memali massacre that had occured during Mahathir’s premiership.
Wan Muhammad Ashraf said it was supposed to be his turn to ask a question after Taufik Abas, who had asked Tun about Memali. But before he got a chance to, a chair was flung towards him and landed right in front of him. Another steel chair was also thrown towards him from an upper floor by an organising committee member.
“The chairs were not aimed at Tun at all, as Tun was seated far away. I believe this was a tactic to prevent me from directing questions to Tun Dr Mahathir,” he told reporters.
You can see the video of the chair-throwing incident here and judge for yourself:
Remember how the PKR party elections in Selangor in 2014 ended?
PKR Kuala Langat elections in 2014 turned violent? BN’s fault?A victim of the PKR Kuala Langat election violence. Did BN supporters do this to him?
And what about the PKR Kota Raja election? Was BN involved too?
But of course, Maria China Abdullah puts the onus on others to stop the violent acts. Since when is the police or the government responsible for stopping people from becoming violent? Are they untrained animals who cannot think for themselves that they need cattle prods to keep them in check?
Or would Maria China Abdullah like to return to the days of Mahathir where the police was given powers to make pre-emptive actions to stop violence and lock people away without any chance of a fair trial?
And see whose children are these who have been behaving in violent manner without any respect for the rule of law?
BERSIH mob attacking a police carBERSIH mob – human beings or violent animals?
And if Maria China Abdullah would care to read the Peaceful Assembly Act, 2012, she would know that the responsibility to provide security and safety of gatherings lie on the organisers of the event, and not the police. Perhaps she would like the Federal Reserve Unit to be stationed inside the event hall and bludgeon the empty heads that are present whenever there is a hint of violence.
I don’t thin Maria China Abdullah is even fit to become a parent because she cannot control her own. She should just sit down at the Hou Keng Restaurant with PKR mongrel Tian Chua and have plates of Tomato Sauce Pork Chop Rice like the “Prophet’s Wife” her followers claim her to be.
Ho Sek at Hou KengHave some Roasted Pork Beancurd Claypot, Prophet’s Wife
So Maria China Abdullah, when are you going to ask the Opposition leaders to denounce political violence? Or do you still expect the police to wipe your arse after you crap?
If you notice the Pakatan parties, DAP in particular, has been crying foul every time things do not go their way. In the words of Parti Cinta Malaysia Deputy President Datuk Huan Cheng Guan, the DAP would “Kau Pek, Kau Bo” (Cry Father, Cry Mother) and seek cheap political mileage and sympathy.
When Teoh Beng Hock unfortunately fell and died at the MACC office in Shah Alam, they went to town blaming the MACC and Barisan Nasional for Beng Hock’s death, even though Beng Hock’s death puts both the MACC and the Barisan Nasional at a disadvantage because Beng Hock was being questioned over several corruption cases involving DAP officials.
But DAP’s cheap sympathy drive made twisted logic in the minds of its 16K-processor-brained supporters.
They even asked for a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to be formed to try link the BN with Beng Hock’s death.
In today’s papers, PAS Deputy President Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has asked the government to form a RCI to look into the deadly Memali siege where, U-Turn Mahathir recently said the 14 PAS supporters and 4 policemen killed deserved to die.
In the 19 November 1985 tragedy, 200 policemen laid siege on the village and an assault later resulted in those deaths. Many believe that Home Minister and U-Turn Mahathir’s Deputy musa Hitam was framed and made a scapegoat when Mahathir denied being in Malaysia at the time of the incident. Just like his relationship with Anwar a decade later, Mahathir’s relationship with Musa then was at the bottom of the barrel.
The Memali issue has long been a thorn in the Malay political scene. My take is if DAP can ask for a RCI to be convened for the death of just one person, why not convene one for 18 deaths?
Furthermore, many of the witnesses are still around so a RCI should be convened as soon as possible!
“Apa lu tengok? Gua mau tengok gua punya muka pun tala sanggup wor!”
Lain pula pendiriannya kini.
“Gua salam, gua angkat gambar. Apa mahu helan? Mahathir gua benci pun gua bole cium sikalang.”
Mungkin beliau pelupa sebab nama beliau Pony Tua.
“I am willing to be investigated to correct the perception of that person,”said Zahid Hamidi on 4 Aug 2017
Extraordinary wealth owned by a public official should be enough grounds for investigations into the person, said a group of people who call themselves lawyers, in an apparent reference to a claim made by U-Turn Mahathir that Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should be investigated by the MACC for having RM230 million when he was the UMNO Youth Chief.
Malaysian Incite reported that a so-called lawyer and “one-sided activist” called Ambiga said that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) could only ascertain the legitimacy of a person’s funds through an investigation.
“Any sign of extraordinary wealth particularly when it concerns people in public office is enough of a basis to investigate. Unfortunately Dzulkifli Ahmad has shown that he is afraid to investigate people at the top,” she was reported to have said, referring to the MACC chief commissioner.
Dzulkifli Ahmad stated that the MACC will only investigate a person’s wealth if there is a basis for the allegation that there are elements of corruption and abuse of power in his wealth.
He said the amount of money one person has is not a reason for the commission to start investigating him.
“The issue is whether the wealth is accumulated through corruption and abuse of power…that basis must be there for the commission to investigate. People can be rich, but it is important that we look at the source of the their wealth because if it is through corruption and abuse of power, then it will become the MACC’s responsibility to investigate,” he said when asked whether the MACC will investigate Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on the excessive wealth he allegedly owned.
In an obviously choreographed act, U-Turn Mahathir claimed that Ahmad Zahid had RM230 million in his bank account back in 1996, while DAP subsequently lodged a police report on the allegation.
Firstly, Ambiga claims that any extraordinary amount of wealth particularly when it concerns people in the public office is an enough basis for the MACC to investigate.
Senility runs deep in the Opposition’s ranks apparently. Zahid became the Member of Parliament for Teluk Intan in 1995 and subsequently the UMNO Youth Chief in October 1996, a position he held until he was arrested under the Internal Security Act for going against U-Turn Mahathir in 1998.
In response to U-Turn Mahathir’s claim, Zahid offered to be investigated.
“I was a businessman, a CEO of a listed company and chairman of other companies,” Zahid said of his past.
Zahid worked in banks such as OCBC, then became the Marketing Manager for Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB). Other portfolios that he held then included Executive Director for Scandinavian Motors Sdn Bhd, the CEO for Kretam Holdings Berhad, Chairman of several companies such as Tekala Corporation Berhad, Seng Hup Berhad, Ramatex Berhad, and Bank Simpanan Nasional from 1995 until U-Turn Mahathir incarcerated him in Kamunting without trial in 1998.
Zahid was then the UMNO Youth Chief and a Member of Parliament. No law states that one has to give up his/her business practice in either post, and neither post is a public office as per the Constitution. Unless Zahid abused his position then as a Member of Parliament (a member of a public body as defined in the MACC Act) to obtain those posts, I see no reason for trying to implicate him on the alleged matter. How can remunerations from companies to a Director, or Shareholder, or Officer, derived from the businesses these companies are involved in, be a form of gratification obtained by a member of a public body?
Unlike in the case of Tokong Lim Guan Eng who clearly used his position to obtain gratification be it for himself or for his wife, Zahid did nothing of the above as alleged.
The MACC Act clearly states that in spite of any written law or rule of law to the contrary, a MACC officer of the rank of Commissioner and above who has reasonable reason to believe based on the investigation of an MACC officer into properties that are held as a result of an offence committed under the MACC Act, may by writing as the person being investigated to furnish the MACC with a list of the properties obtained through gratification.
What is there to ask for if (1) no offence has been committed, (2) no investigation has been conducted based on (1)? Request on mere speculation?
This is why Section 36 of the MACC Act is as such, to prevent a waste of taxpayers’ money and the MACC’s precious little time going on wild goose chase. You may refer to Section 3 of the said Act to know what it means by ‘gratification’ when referring to someone holding a public office or is a member of a public body. Therefore, how can there be any form of double standard committed by the MACC as alleged by Eric Paulsen of the Bar Council?
Both Eric Paulsen and Ambiga claim that the MACC is not courageous nor willing to investigate the ‘big fish‘ such as “even Najib Razak if necessary.”
But like I said at the beginning of this post, senility runs deep within the ranks of the Opposition. The MACC quizzed Najib Razak on the RM2.6 billion donation back in December 2015.
I wonder why don’t Ambiga and Eric Paulsen read their own favourite news portal?
Anyway, before I end this posting, I would like to share what Section 23 (1) of the MACC Act says about the use of public office or position for ‘gratification‘ :
Section 23 (1) of the MACC Act, 2009
If I may, I would like to join Ambiga’s call to ask MACC to investigate the ‘big fish‘ who, in the words of Ambiga herself, continue to loot the nation and if I may add, or also looted the nation.
Ambiga said those who loot the nation must be investigated
Ambiga and Eric Paulsen should now agree with me that a report was made by Pribumi’s members on the extraordinary wealth accumulated by U-Turn Mahathir when he was definitely a ‘member of a public body.’
PPBM Youth members lodged a report against U-Turn Mahathir over his extraordinary wealth
Therefore, in accordance with Section 23 (1) of the MACC Act, 2009, I challenge both Ambiga and Eric Paulsen to make a public call for an investigation to be made into U-Turn Mahathir’s abuse of his office and position to obtain a contract through direct negotiation (more like direct command) from Telekom Malaysia to his son’s company when he was still the Prime Minister. And I challenge the MACC to commence its investigation into the KELEPETOCRACY by U-Turn Mahathir.
KELEPETOCRACY, Mahathir-style
If anyone says this was done before the MACC Act, 2009 came into force, let it be known that in the Anti Corruption Act, 1997, the act of seeking gratification by someone holding an office was given via Section 15(1) of the Act.
So there have you. Investigate U-Turn Mahathir and see if he is going to try add this to his EVERYTHINGTUNHIDE 2.0 Q&No-A sessions.

Jangan kita lupa siapa musuh kita.
Jangan kita lupa pengorbanan pasukan keselamatan kita.
